One Day
Kyle Mooneyham Sep 2020
One day
It will all be done
One day
Death will have won
One day
Regret will set in
One day
Fear will overcome your grin

Some day
Love will find its way
Some day
You won’t be its prey
Some day
The sun will shine and glow
Some day
After a storm comes a rainbow

Struggles
Kyle Mooneyham Sep 2020
When life was carefree
Doing whatever we please
None could really judge me
Since my mind was at ease

From then to now and everything in between
Life had been great as many have seen

However, only a few know the true struggle
We all face them at our lowest of lows
Our lives get tossed into a juggle
When will it end, no one knows

We do our best to hide the treacherous truth
But some give up before getting through their youth

We must protect the ones we love so dear
Forever and ever and call upon
Help in those times of constant fear
Because you’ll never know when they’ll be gone

The Life of Woe
Kyle Mooneyham Mar 2015
All throughout the darkened day
A little boy limps with a scar
From a fire that burned his body gray
As kids started to gossip and bray

While Billy hobbles to class that was afar
A **** came and shoved him to the ground
Billy was stunned like a helpless Tsar
Which everyone saw was bizarre

Sadly enough he was never astound
And wondered why his friends were so cruel
He would rather go to a pool and drown
Until the discovery of hatred was found

Meanwhile a girl by the name of Jewel
Noticed all the comments towards Billy were curt
She decided to tell him during school
As she waited for her crush at the newel

Wanting to halt Billy from being disconcert
Jewel went to him to show she had care
As they stood together with tons of hurt
All the pain was lifted as they continued to flirt

Billy began starting to declare
That they were tighter than a bouquet
And Jewel was worth more than a gem so rare
As his limits was diminished in thin air

To my loved one
Kyle Mooneyham Mar 2015
Today marks the first month of our journey
I never in my life felt so free
Your forever love so sweet and dear
The love we share is crystal clear
When our hands become bind
Feeling the softness of your touch
Wrapping myself around you from behind
Expressing the reasons why I love you so much
I want you to be mine forevermore
You've showed me the beauty of love
Inspired by you to live and explore
The greatest things offered from above
Seeing you as the bride
Standing next to my side
With this I need to say
I'll love you every day

The Unseen Side
Kyle Mooneyham Mar 2015
Within a cool summer breeze
Laid a meadow where grass grew
No animals in sight and with it no trees
Above was nothing except the vast beautiful blue
In this land of forgotten memories
Three doors stood so brown and new

Years and years passed unseen
Until a young girl came one day
Her figure was amazingly lean
And produced a great display
With a birthstone of tourmaline
Her cheerful days has deplenished away

As she came to the first door
The scenes showed her miserable past
Starring at the pictures as she abhor
Being hurt and hated and harassed
As delinquents attacked her heart and tore
Leaving her determinations and desires so vast

She glanced away and continued on
The next door's wiring seemed to be loose
For it was blurry when came upon
Known as a hermit by remaining recluse
With all the negativity she drawn
No one seeing the frames of abuse

Trying to forget the past and present
She fearfully beheld her final dare
Standing there with such tremendous resent
Enraged her with darkness and despair
Seeing only a still event
Of the color black flooding everywhere

Deciding which door to overwrite
She choose none to reside
The girl left the meadow in fright
Feeling unwanted as she cried
So on a cold winter night
She committed suicide

Troubling TimeS

Judgement day is here
Curves more noble than her cheer
I'll never understand these "kids
Girls luring them in like aphids
Just by a shake and a  twerk
Caring less about school work
"Kids" looking for love in the wrong places
Never looking at the girls' beautiful faces
Instead they fantasize their wants to date
Rather then loving one's true self of fate
Love is a powerful thing to possess
Especially when it is true and gets rid of stress
It is nice to know nice guys still exist
Protecting his true love with his fist
Never hitting her for any reason
Nor causing any cheating or treason
Though the lady will never be the only girl he'll love
As he knows there will be here of
A little version of his true love's form
In his country house she'll swarm
He'll love her just like his wife back in school
Being a great dad and so cool
Vowing to make her the happiest child
Even though his life is wild
Hiding from his daughter his debt
Wanting everything but his little girl upset
So as buyers come and go from his doors
Money can never buy want he adores

The Transition
Kyle Mooneyham Dec 2014
Deplorable fortune we amass
Enable us to reach an impasse
Pursuing nothing but sorrow
Right into the gloomy morrow
Ever to think it will cease
Since all we want is to acquire peace
Sorely he comes to us and ingest
In his liar making you stressed
Ought to know if you'll be forever
Negative and mischievous for whomever

To take these thoughts and actions
Oblivate the dreadful and strike back with factions

Joyously content in a crowd of umpteen
Underneath the sun's rays we glean
Before the glorious day ends
I look know to see what bends
Leaning against me stood florets of white
A dandelion that soon takes flight
To unknown lands and uncharted seas
In their journey they land at ease
Over and over producing cheer
Nevertheless seeing darkness bring fear

Life
Kyle Mooneyham Nov 2014
As I look at life
With a man and his wife
Thinking of what can become
And the challenges they can overcome
But as there is greatness
There are areas of blankness
With bunch of regret
And cheating is set
Girls may found the one
But then get beat and stun
Well one day she'll see the light
Which will shine so bright
And see the beauty of nature
Instead of fighting for fur
War can be so amazing
Yet so very grazing
As war feeds on flesh
And the men start to thresh
Then as their escape is to climb the rope
Women can easily cut their hope
So what's love in this miserable place?
Is it seeing her beautiful face?
Maybe it's looking at her soul through the eyes
As if watching the night filled with fireflies
Then you can put your arms around her
So you can get her to stop saying "Burr"
But for all the ladies out there
Have a man who you love and care
He will spoil you with one great thing
Which happiness he may bring
And an open heart he loves to wear
As a day without you he can't bear
However, when the fights start to come
With the felling of love is so numb
Just remember all through this violent
As the world falls silent
You will one day find love
As it's greater than the dove

The Unimaginable Two
Kyle Mooneyham Nov 2014
One day Luke walked to an ice show
But was quickly lost and looked around
He saw a guy who started to mow
Blades ripping the grass being cut down
In terror as it held the ground so tight

Little farther down the road
A beautiful girl was standing there
He asked for help which she bestowed
Sophia felt great with her loving care
As they walked together with the sun so bright

Soon they sat with each other at the ice rink
Luke with his way with words
Made her blush with cheeks so pink
With the sweet songs composed by birds
Their love went to a whole new height

After years of compassionate dating
Sophia began to feel a bit wary
She for too long halve  been waiting
Until finally he got down ready to marry
And she said yes as she started to cry

Later that month at the city hall
Luke and Sophia said their vow
The love they shared stood so tall
As the two would be together forever now
And live their life as each day go by

Soon they had a girl named Lily
Once Luke had to watch her on his behalf
So he acted foolish and silly
Just so he can hear her beautiful laugh
He did everything his mom would apply

A decade later in the midst of the sun
Lily came across a snake during the tour
Luke confronted the snake and won
Afterwards Luke told her he would endure
Anything that would harm her he consign

As Lily and her parents grew older
Sophia goes to the hospital and receives a terrible answer
Lily begins to cry on her dad's shoulder
As she finds out her mom has cancer
Luke calmly tells her everything will be fine

Miraculously Sophia beats the disease
As she fought hard in the long combat
All three of them can live life in ease
They sing in harmony while darkness grew flat
And their love was the most divine

But the sad truth is this was just a dream
As Luke awoke to start the day
He got ready for the ice show theme
This year was dress like a cast away
So he put on his best and now was set

As he walked to the ice show
He started to think it was deja vu
He saw the same guy starting to mow
Grass shredded like his life and dreams spew
Luke was alone and wish he could reset

He sees Sophia but unexpectedly receives a text
Luke checks it as he walks past her
He sits at the ice show uncertain what to do next
And now life for Luke is just a blur
Take every chance at love you get

Unloved
Kyle Mooneyham Nov 2014
As a boy thinks about his durations
Of walking through his field of striped carnations
He spots one that was different than the rest
It was of a lovely color which we all know is best
He was stunned of the beauty as he froze
As he starred at the magnificent rose
The boy became active again
And soon his walk came to an end
In his mind trying to retain
The past compassion he had spend
With life filled with neglections and rejections
To where he had posed imperfections
With curious thought he ought to sought
Which he hope wouldn't end in naught
But as nature always deny
The one thing he wants of endless supply
Only to be buried
Discarded by many
With emotions so varied
And unseen by any
So as he reaches for the flower
With his mind so sour
The rose transform into the others
When given the druthers
So the boy remains alone
In his house not known

— The End —
