Holding on the Status Quo
Disallows the mind to grow

We break each day,
in attempt to find,
that of our soul,
we have left behind.

Her poetry makes me breathe deeper,
as I plunge into the endless submersive cave,
her voice holds the light.

When you want to mend
Nothing cuts cleaner than truth
There will always be a scar
