Whatever I had left of myself, I lost it to her,
Now I am utterly lost!
But there is consolation in this emptiness,
A quiet peace that wraps around me like a fading whisper,
For though I've given all I am,
What remains is rarity,
A version of me I didn't know existed.

Sometimes, I dream it might happen,

By the river's shore on a full-moon night
You arrive, just as I dream it to be.

A gathering of angels whispers your name,

and you appear,
as I wish it to be.

I wish for the cold breeze,

Passing your home,
stealing your fragrance,

Carrying it to mine, just as I long it to be.

I wish for this—the clouds pour so much,
That your heart longs for me, just as mine for you.
Your heart aches to see me,
like mine aches for you.
As I wish it to be, sometimes.

Don’t think of letting go, stay in my arms,
My heart won’t bear it—don’t let go.
The memories I have forbid you to utter such words,
Do not think of letting go.

My heart stops beating when I see you walk away,
Contemplate: why should I not stop you from it?
Listen to the cries, my love,
My heart breaks hearing such words—don’t let go.
Stay in my arms.

My love demands the heavens not let tomorrow come,
It will take away my love, my tomorrow.

The vicious night prolongs its stay,
Denying tomorrow's light to fray.
My tears bear the sorrows of my heart,
yet they're suppress, and kept apart.

Mourning in the dark veil of despair,
Separation's mark, heavy to bear.
Chained by time's relentless might,
invisible shackles, hidden from sight.

Within time's cage, i find peace,
where grief and I, sorrow release.
They have learned to drown my deepest woes,
Now darkness hints at tomorrow's repose.

In the dance of sorrow and solace's art,
My laments find healing, a brand new start.
For even in darkness, there's a hint of light,
a promise of tomorrow, shining bright.
