Days have gone dark. Nights even darker. Strange are the winds. That howl outside the gate. Bearing terrible omen. Of what is yet to come. Blacks’ beasts assembling. We’ll all soon be done.

They come from the dock, from there they flock. Our dreams, hopes, humanity, forever they mock. They enter the street, where the sewers they leak. Dismal, abysmal and always so bleak. Nothing can stop them from spreading their reek.

For he who is first will be he who is last. Titles are irrelevant, when judgement is passed. Nothing will stand, decay will be grand. The pale will spread their infectious hands. The pale will reign these devilish lands.

So say your prayer and evil forswear. Swollen wounds upon you, you already bear. You think you are safe, inside these gates. But let me remind you; illusions will blind you.

Almost seems forbidden
Away from society this farm is hidden

Secretly I enter its hall
For just a quick look, a curious stroll

“What here might I find?”
“A long kept secret?” wanders my mind

It is hard to tell
My eyes are met by darkness, my nose a nasty smell

Suddenly I am able to see
In the dark again I’d rather be

Torn testicles lie on the floor
Stirs not my appetite this horror and gore

Little piglets gasp for air
Sadly for them though nobody cares

Rot, blood, diarrhea and pus
I need to get out of here and that in a rush

I run for the exit and slam the door
Everything was a lie, innocence before

Keep fighting, keep hoping, keep believing. That’s how the chant goes. The one you repeat to yourself amidst the surrounding darkness of the night. “It’s always darkest just before the dawn”. This sure as hell is one long and dark night. And dawn doesn’t exactly hasten itself.

So help ease this troubled mind
Because I just can’t seem to find

That little spark of belief
Disappeared somewhere in my grief

Now darkness has gained control
Of this once pure and hopeful soul

So please show me the light…
Before I give up this fight.
