Hey you, I know you’re trying to get away.
But please sit your *** down and just hear me say,
Have you been that kid that has no friends?
Just waking up waiting for the day to end?
Walking through the halls, head hanging low,
Going at a pace you consider too slow.

Stop for a second, and ask how he's been,
Now you can see the beginning of a grin.
You may not understand what you’ve just done.
But consider it a small war that you’ve just won,
He was tearing apart, but you might not see it.
“He wants to solve his own problems” you said “So be it.”
But maybe you can see that it’s not the case.
All he really wants, is to see a new face,
Someone who can outstretch a helping hand.

Now here’s the toughest question on today’s pop quiz:
Do you lend him your own or break one of his?

It's something I wear,
"Is everything alright?" Yeah I'm fine, I swear.
Just put a smile on my face and make a joke..
"Yup, she's definitely ok!" everyone croaks
But no, they're wrong and don't realize,
The grin on my face is a frown in disguise.
I feel alone in this world, as if no one understands
That each person in my life makes many demands
"You can't please everyone", yeah thanks I got it
Try to be happy, here's my heart..take a shot at it.
Feeling better? "Not really" here, try again .

"What can I do?" You ask. What do I say? I wonder
I want to preach, create a storm, make it thunder..
Instead I reply with an I dont know, good luck..
Who knows, it might work
Like what I say means a ****

If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands
Clap clap. Just complying to your commands.

Heart skipped a beat,
and when I turned around
My eyes met your eyes,
and suspended time.
As I held your gaze,
you blinked and looked away.

You felt it, too,
I know you did.
But you killed our moment.
Dejectedly, I turned

Your eyes came back,
light, fire, passion,
caught mine
Suspended again.

forever.

Wake up every morning and my head's in a mess
Groan, get up, shower and blame it on the stress.
Leaving for school in the same **** routine
Waiting to be dismissed, not acknowledged or seen.
I'm now a bee working steady, and ready for class
Only to be greeted by a chair for my ***.
Staring straight ahead i cant focus or remember
The answer to a question given in September.
The rest of block one seems to fly by in a blur
"Have a ducky weekend!" the teacher suddenly purrs.
Unfortunately for me, still three more to go,
Maybe i'll just skip, they'll never have to know.
My face is heating up, now i think i have a fever
No worries, halfway through.. a serious reliever.
Going down to lunch, Gee i wonder what i'll eat.
Open up my back, oh apples! what a treat.
The day starts getting better after sharing a few smiles
Just to be greeted by gym where i'll walk a few miles.
He expects us to run, "Hell no i just ate!"
Glaring and glowing he showers us with hate.
Finally off to block four, minutes prior to the bell.
It teases and taunts, giving me a strict hell.
The day's almost done, i lack willingness to learn.
The teacher seeing my enthusiasm asks with concern
"Krishna whats wrong, just tired today?"
"Yes" i reply in a tired kind of way.
The bell finally rings and i pack up to leave
When waiting 5 is like 50, i've no choice but to grieve.
A slow white tiger arrives to pounce on its prey.
I jump in its mouth and wait to decay.
Finally i die after a day filled with pain
Going off to heaven for a second, then reborn again.
The stuff i have mentioned in this thing may not be true
Its primarily composed only to entertain you.
..So yeah
The end.

Floating islands above the atmosphere
When I'm with you,
I leap from island to island
no worries
You don't make me reckless,
but adventurous

A natural risk taker,
you amplify it
Zest
Every time we leap,
and land, and leap, and land,
a red pepper bursts from the ground
I sneeze,
"Bless you"
And "bless me" He did.

The island trail splits,
Sneezes stop, no more blessings.
You continue to hop along on the now-perilous path,
and I am compelled to take the other:
Nineteen years of family values, societal pressures.

Trying to tread our respective directions,
Hands held along the way,
But you move swiftly along without a care about falling,
and I,
I stand here at the intersection
Wishing nothing more than to hop backwards,
Sneezing along the way,
hoping He will bless me again

What does that even mean?
In your eyes,
I see a pallet,
and you

You are the artist creating a painting,
With your light that continues to permeate through
The fighting dark,
Gently brushing the tips of everything you see,

Illuminating.

Then the sun sets.
