All these songs have lost their meaning
...all these songs,
they used to be about you.
It seems that I can't write if I'm not in love
I can't write if I'm not in pain
If I'm not enveloped in a
feeling...then I'm completely emotionless
A real poet could find meaning in anything
Love in a sea of hatred
Pain in a time of joy.
My writings are trivial
...subject to my surroundings and my emotions in the moment.
In a quick second things can change
And I won't recognize my own words.
A real poet would.

There's my problem,
I'm afraid so I hold back.
I dont know how to be loved so I display hate.
I've been hurt, so I always fight.
I don't trust, because no ones given me anything to trust in.
I'm never comfortable so I can't be comforted
All I know is death,so I can't live.
I don't love myself, so I can't be loved.
I don't forgive others, so I can't move on.
I'm stuck in the past, so I can't see my future.
Once I deal with all these things...maybe I can be a person

To hate the person with whom you lay is grotesque feeling.
As I lay next to you my skin crawls...the hair on the nape of my neck stands
Our spirits repel each other like the strongest of magnets
And I can feel my hate for you growing...
Yet every night there's only one place to find me...

Your melodic chants...
The notes resonating from one stone to another.
Gently and with ease they begin to break down the walls...
Revealing something much sweeter.
I can't help but think of the wonders you possess
You utter your words effortlessly but with such passion.
so sensual,yet so innocent and pure...
I can't help but fall in love.
Maybe I'm confused,maybe I'm wrong, but there's no other word I can use other than love.
