Head hung, Heart hummed
Kim-Nam Le Jun 2013
Black tidal waves encompassed by the wall of lipstick,
releasing steam becoming inhaled from the mouth that sleeps.
Black curvatures sped along the ghostly lines to ease the tick,
relapsing legs touching to the web that weeps.

No winged-beast, no unpredictable mind,
to lullaby the creator of both the invisible and the translucent.
Slowly suffocated to the echo of the riled up rhyme,
slowly spitting out the guts of red paint.

Freedom flown, fists formed,
molding white pieces into scattered clouds.
Head hung, heart hummed,
wailing teary notes into ripped wedding gowns.

Cycle of the eaten, and the uneaten,
all must gallantly fall; however births ripples.
Sanctions of the needed, and the unneeded,
all must dauntingly call; however pictures simple.

Land of Wallflowers
Kim-Nam Le Jun 2013
I drink till the moonlight sinks deeply into my covers,
Where time has no mind, and no side-effects to gather.
May I sleep better than the days before,
Never to watch my ghost drift away towards the door.

Some raise their glass to the sky,
Some to the clink of another,
But I and I, bare and dry,
Give pity to my nerves without a bother.

As I turn the pages of a new novel,
Where the moon swings with the stars,
Soft and jovial,
Like towards an infinite inclinations of a son and mother.

Friends holding the cracks within my hand,
******* the toxic liquid from my skin.
We walk together among the wallflowers covering the land,
As a single, sole thought of entangled vines that we suspend.

The snuggled smoke that flourished through the wrapped trees of distress,
Surpassed the frenzied flowers that my lover had once possessed.
Neither rain, nor comforting words nestled the neglect of those tears,
Who hid behind the books and the consumption of countless, crazed fears.

Amazed and awed what lies through the window of those memorable drives,
Only to end up with the inevitable filth that dripped from her eyes.
I constantly searched for things to drown out the waves of misery,
To keep her head above the washing water and vicious visionary.

Perhaps, myself, to acclaim her sensible wants and needs,
And to lay the pebbles on top of the dusty path of weeds.
Certain that this was the becoming of a new beginning,
To love a person more than myself, discovering a silver lining.

Time became our fearless friend, yet our worst enemy,
Through the constant battles of her past memory.
Becoming unstitched from each other’s blanket that was once sewn,
Left I to cherish the warmth spent and loaned.

Fluorescent Folly
Kim-Nam Le Jun 2013
Visioned skewed and blurred beneath the masterful mask,
Completely collided mixtures of fluorescent folly and illness intact.
Crowned swiftly upon his truthful, yet tactical thoughts,
Who discovered the prolific promiscuity of his father's revolts.
Proud to be the lonesome star, who gleams giantly above,
Where the hungry telescopes are constantly searched and shoved.
Staggered toward emptiness of shine and fuel,
Left to float below, till becoming lost in the army of fools.

Eyelid After Eyelid
Kim-Nam Le Jun 2013
Death once spoke to me through a streetlight that solely flickered rushing red.
Along with the drops of acid dancing within the outlines of a thread.
One pedal to accelerate an already accelerated mind,
One pedal to reverse a raucous reaction,
Mirrors plugged to my beating flesh, pulsating time,
Wheels swirling off it's axis, succumbing to the lost traction.
Closing eyelid after eyelid, fate selected a pedal,
Roaring of both synapses and electricity,
Swerving across the bumps of light that model,
Leaving stones to break like my bones, collapsing entirely, goes my entity.

Water crept into my lungs.
Water replaced my tears.
Water ****** my blood.

He said to me, "You'll smell a smell you've never smelled before,
and sense a sensation worth dying for."
So with one last cell, and with one last breath,
I smelled and sensed the defiled Death.
