popularity
nobody Jan 2018
curl your hair!
straighten your hair!
wear your prettiest dress,
so that boys will be impressed
wear your heels dont wear flats,
dont eat too much or you’ll get fat
all these rules just to gain popularity
but does it really mean anything in true reality
having to follow these makes you perfect
but also it makes you lose respect
for yourself.
why must we engage in such thought that being popular would mean the world to us when in fact, it doesnt really matter whos popular or not. what matters is what kind of soul do we have.

i hate myself
nobody Jan 2018
to have your heart filled with woe
to have yourself as your major foe
i promised you id take care of me
but that was way before i was out of glee
i didnt think i would lie about my thoughts
about the battles i have fought
but today and yesterday
ive realised that the emotions i try so hard to hide start to fade
and my soul does too as i draw lines on my wrist with a blade
all this, my thoughts made
i uh.. all those are real. please dont talk to me about it but if you want to talk to me you can just not about this

pressured by my religion
they say prayer ends oppression depression and your crave for attention
listen up everybody i hope i didnt fail to mention
dont you notice what the races have in common? tension
i dont wanna sound rude i dont want my catholic school to give me a suspension
but dear god please fix your invention
believing in you is easy but in humanity is like creating a new dimension
once more, did i mention
that the church feels nothing more than a convention
dont hate on my work, those are just what i think about my religion when i really dig deep in what my religion shows other people. what i mean is that, yes the church does wonderful things but also create more tension like when a ****** sees someone he wants to ****.
