Standing together on the edge of forever,

where suns will rise through endless skies,

and shining stars that seem so far,

illuminate the night with radiant light.

Beneath the shrouds of rolling clouds,

the oceans sway through seamless days,

and rivers flow into the unknown,

with lakes and meres that disappear.

Beyond horizons and towering mountains,

a canvas of green, a forest of trees,

and vast stretching fields and flowers that yield,

the seasons rapture of mother nature.

And in this place of captivating grace,

with senses filled, our thoughts so still,

such wonders consume yet our spirits in tune,

in harmony together in our land of forever.

The Velvet Pillow
Khristov Dubois Oct 2012
Within the velvet a soothing home,
a tranquil place where i can sleep.
Wrapped in waves and bound so tight,
falling fast and falling deep.

A saccharine taste upon these lips,
dulcet flavours ****** and prolong.
Distending walls embrace with ease,
this sensual touch, my senses long.

Tender skin that holds me calm,
exquisite warmth so rich inside.
Running waters that bathe untamed,
baptism of fire, surely divine.

And now i rest, with blankets unfurled,
receding streams, the body is weak.
But in time temptation will come,
enticing me back, the beautiful sleep.

The Lucid Veil
Khristov Dubois Oct 2012
Shadows surrounding, pray they not see,

pray they not listen, dare i not breathe.

Whispers that deafen, and words that reveal,

this lucid veil that will not conceal.

Hollow and vacant, empty and cold,

their blackened eyes upon me now.

The night has deadened with a deathly chill,

the air so silent, the heart so still.

As darkness hastens and light recedes,

i turn from myself to a place within.

A sanctum of solace where no-one can see,

walls without doors, a prison of dreams.

Behind the curtain and beyond the walls,

a barren waste in a desolate land.

Under the stars and endless skies,

my solitary shell, a kingdom all mine.

Roaming the earth and drifting through time,

i wander yet further, so far from this life.

But into the distance, reflections like shimmer,

refracting rays, the hall of mirrors.

Drawn to this place like flies to the light,

a spectacle of colour beneath the night.

Images flicker and pictures so real,

projecting desires and all of my fears.

This looking glass that echoes my soul,

a baleful glimpse of a life unknown.

Of broken thoughts and truths undone,

devotions lost, unrequited love.

Recoiled in horror, i fall to my knees,

with head in my hands, desperation screams.

A storm so loud it breaks the heavens,

a wind so fierce it shakes the trees.

The mirrors shatter and light shines through,

returning to myself, a place i once knew.

The fallen curtain and the crashing walls,

all that was becomes nothing at all.

Darkness recedes and whispers fade,

the blistering sun upon my face.

Distorted visions they disappear,

the world around me becoming clear.

As everything becomes illuminated,

what i've become is emanated.

No more the voices and all is clearer,

this lucid veil, this two-sided mirror.

Reflections surrounding, pray I not see,

Pray I not listen, yet I still breathe.

Never to change and never to heal,

always behind my two-sided veil.

The hollow years become the past,

through your eyes a love to last.

From first light to end of days,

kindred spirits in human clay.

Hand in hand and through the waves,

thoughts, memories, the life we gave.

Forever eternal in our hearts,

for we are a love that shall never part.”

Beneath the waves
Khristov Dubois Nov 2011
Through the seas i travel,

all my sins unraveled.

Lamenting across my shame,

Penthus is thy name.

As the waves they break me,

a thousand knifes upon thee.

Broken, scarred and lame,

Hippasus is thy name.

Beneath the waters that straiten,

in swathes of desolation.

The amaranth of my pain,

Prometheus is thy name.

This tomb, this grave, this shrine,

my fight, my struggle to climb.

A hopeless perpetual game,

Sisyphus is thy name.

Now darkness takes the light,

as day becomes the night.

Reaching in endless vain,

Tantalus is thy name.

No longer are the stars,

the minutes and the hours.

Nor feel the dancing rain,

to wash away the blame.

And never again the sunshine,

nor any of God's design.

No more will flicker this flame,

for nameless, is thy name.

I spent a lonely night,
in the rapture of your words,
yearning to be enveloped,
in the cradle within your arms.
Drowning in this ocean,
the rain that tastes so sweet,
these eyes so brightly blue,
a fire upon my soul.
Dare not break the darkness,
the light that never seeps,
this void surrounds my thoughts,
my heart it shall not speak.
But through the tides i wait,
slowly wait for sleep,
for you are but a dream,
not a memory, never real.

Eve

Eve
Her body t’is my home,
upon white satin i lay.
She stitches me together,
with warmth and loving gay.
Gazing within her eyes,
reflections of forests and trees.
Fair tressles flowing fancy,
a smile that gives such tease.
And kind words she prays,
gentle, in a whisper.
On these lips i wait,
trembling but to kiss her.
May she never cleanse her cheek,
nor sadness upon her breast.
But love until that day,
held in her last caress.

These bitter hands that build again,
toiling with such earthly grain.
Blistered flesh that bleeds within,
the poison that flows beneath the skin.
Stone by stone, they fill the hole,
no recess buried in the soul.
And never the light shall pass this door,
ever darkness, forevermore.
