Healing of the Mind

I remember when I used to lift weights in my younger days. Each week I would add another pound or two to the bar.  A few months later, I could not believe how big and strong I had gotten. Always in the mirror; I was so proud because I worked hard and sacrificed a lot of time to achieve my goal.

One day I notice that I was fo0ling myself.  I wasted a lot of time living in the past. It cause me the time I need to progress in other things in life. I know that things happen, but I’ve realized I don’t live with them for the rest of my life. It’s like I threw my problems away and went right back in the trash and retrieved them. The more I went back, the heavier my bar (mind) became.

What I did not do was “LET GO”. The only
person that could bring them back was me. What did it do for me, Nothing!! The problems were gone, but I kept bringing them back.

How much weight are you carrying and when will you LET It Go. All of us have enough things that happen in our lives to carry.  Let- It- Go; your mind is asking you too. Heal your mind and your body will rest.

*Stop putting your energy into some things that has ended.

NOT LOOKING BACK

I remember standing in a place so long my bones started hurting. After being there for more than a week, I started wondering why.

In the beginning I did it to prove a point, but in the end I became the point I was trying to prove. Yes, bad moments that happen in my life that I would never forget.  I carried the pain with me for more than a whole week and suffered along the way.

What I must do now is to renew my strength and replenish my heart. And remember that we all have made mistakes and we must forgive; just as others have forgiven us.

Today I will take a step forward to loosen my bones and relax my muscles and put the past behind me.

A  Soldier’s Prayer

Father we come here together today in prayer
with our hands holding one to another.

A soldier’s prayer thanking “You” for all that
You have done for us.

Whether things in our lives are good or what
we consider bad, You’ve brought us thru to
see another day.

Your purpose for what we are about to encounter
is unknown to us right now.  We ask for your strength during our battles and a safe return back
with our families.

Father here we are several souls united as one asking for You to forgive us for our past and
make our future Yours.

No matter what happens during our battles we know that our bodies are buried while souls are here for You to take.  Our knowledge is to serve You and protect our families the best we know how. The blood inside of us may be different, but our will to live is the same.

Father we know that there is NO Greater Love than YOURS; please help us to make the right decision with all of our life’s circumstances. Whether or not we are in or out of life’s battles we Love, Appreciate, and Thank You for bringing us this far and we pray that we’re able to see each other once again in peace and harmony.
Father your children are calling your name in prayer around the world. Please lead our souls thru
the pathway to You.
AMEN
