Do we risk this,

This pathway leads only down.

The darkness shall engulf us,

Like it has every time before.

The feeling of emptiness,

When you trip and fall,

And your life flashes before your eyes,

But you see nothing at all.

I am lost.
I cannot be found.
I stuck in my head,
crying the voices out.

I feel like you wouldn't recognise me anymore.

You would not sense my despair,

Or the tell-tale signs of another

fall into the darkness.

A bump in the road,

A stab in the dark,

These pieces of me

are falling apart.
