We are all so scared.
We are all swallowed by the
immensity.
We are all standing on top of the world
and screaming at the stars
and we are all weeping.
We are all condensed into smallness.
We are all playing at mime-in-a-box,
trapped by air that we made.
We are all incomplete.
We are all glass, scattered with rain
so far away from houses and their
windows. We are all
sleepy. We all long to
lie our heads down on that pillow,
the pink one from home.
We all long to dream. We all dream,
and it scares us.
We are all ultimate. We are all curled
up in the position of
the womb and we
can touch the earth and heaven,
hell. And our sleep which is not sleep
is nightmares.
We all awake but we were always awake;
We all stand on the moon and scream at the stars.
We all pretend we are closer closer.
We all warm our backs with the sun.
We all eat dirt and spit it out.
We all chew leaves that are purple and leaves that are
red.
We all sigh. We all sigh great sighs that shake the world,
tremble it. And the trembling makes us all
scared. We are all scared.
we
are
all
forgettable
