waits a paradise of life anew

Just beyond the rainbow,
is where we shall meet again.

If I must leave this Earth before you
please do not shed a tear.

Do not fill your life with sadness
and endless fear.

But live on in peace doing things the same
with a brave small upon your face,

Fill your waking hours in good ways.
Remember that I am in a wonderful new place.

I fought the good fight up until the very end,
I was a servant,  a mother, and a dear friend.

Love me-love me not
we used to say, pulling out new flower petals
one by one around the flower stem

Love me-love me not
we would say with an innocent smile
hoping the last petal would be
"Love Me" at the very end

Love me-love me not
now I say alone with great wonder
hoping you shall not hold my flaws against me.

As I walked along the road just the other day
throwing some small pebbles along the way

I saw a rabbit of unusual size
who had large hind legs, shorter ears
and beady little eyes

He jumped and darted about, not a care in the World
with butterflies dancing above his head

He ate  a little wild clover
nestled under some tulips of red
being as carefree as a little rabbit should

He frolicked about with nothing to dread
knowing all his needs had been met
and he was now fed

His cute powder puff tale could only be seen
right before he landed in that tall green

Watching him I giggled with utter delight
how that rabbit went about
was a real funny sight!

There shall be a day
when all sadness & hate shall fade
when all hurt shall melt away

There shall be a day
when kindness & love prevail
and joy shall return to stay

There shall be a day
when our maker shall reclaim this World
and cleanse all the filth away

There shall be a day
when we all shall live in peace
and God shall forever reign!

You never have to walk alone
I'll be walking with you

Even when you feel alone
I am right beside you

Through it all
just have faith and believe
that this is true, that I am here for you

Even in the darkest times
I am right here next to you...

Holding your hand
and helping you make it through

When you feel hopeless
and the time is near the end...
know that I'm right here for you

Your time is never through
your Spirit has no end...
I am helping you stand

This is only one chapter of your Journey
and I am walking with you.
