painted by sunshine and beers with lime
I'll take my ankles grazed by mounds of sand
with a simple soothing crash of bubbles.
The only place I feel at home outside of my own mind
you can find me opening cans with the ******,
sipping down warm breeze to **** our troubles.

picking apart the intimate details of a love affair gone wrong
a one way street leading to a destination too far along.
an over invested boy with a under interested girl
tables turned in due time and the gift was but the world.
but favored odds were not yet stacked
the envelopes of time had still been backed.
so when circumstances change and it is not one sided
don't seem like you're not knowledgeable as to why you are divided.

can't tolerate
you drowning in my adjectives
but floating in my admiration,
I
have
been
waiting
for the day realization shakes hands with judgement
a new friendship built
one which will last,
until
the
end
of
us.

better to have loved then lost
cause hate creates a weighing cost
before that tombstone was embossed
you were gone and so was love
so aren't they the same as love that's lost?

a curved mark has summed up the existence of myself
but not only of myself but also that of my peers.
it, a winding roller coaster with ample amounts of seats
has harbored both intelligence, common sense, and utter stupidity.
often the end, however rarely seen in it's true identity, the beginning
this glamorous yet disgusting object has claimed the souls
of all, no matter their composition or genetic make-up
when leaving us doomed we are blind to see it's giving nature,
get to move with it, lightweight it travels, but always
waits at home for us. just a dot in time, but
without it. no us, I, we, and most important, them.

It felt like it needed to
but more powerful
All the movements were blurred
but more visible
like I knew them
like I watched them everyday
almost like second nature
but they were first
it was just a land of green & brown
everywhere I looked, everywhere I turned
I wanted to explore
I wanted to see it
from different angles and perspectives
UP CLOSE & far away
I wanted to hear it
it's different beats with frequencies
pitches, timbres, & depths
I wanted to smell it
the sweet, the spicy, even the undesirable
but mostly,
I wanted to feel it
not just physical, by the touch of my skin
or the grasp of my finger nails
but mentally
I needed to know it's thoughts
it's beliefs, it's ideals
it's idea of moral value & standard
but spiritually
it's feelings, emotions, and attitudes
it's ups & downs, highs & lows
but really
I noticed
I noticed something beautiful
That this exploration made me want to explore it's coexistence with me.

took your yarn of cliche statements
spun the ball
knitted it without a loom or needle
wore it as a hat
until it turned to fall
kept me warm
protected me of the breeze
when asked who created it
I replied none at all
puzzled the looks on faces
of onlookers and askers
who had no understanding
that this hat was just a call
a cry between arguments
a plea bargain with no money
simply this was a collective
brought on by a brawl
