Reaching Out

She reached out to the sky,
hoping to catch a star,
only to realize

that they were all too far.

So instead she curled in,
accepting that no star
would want to be held

by someone so bizarre.

For people who don't feel like they'll ever be liked back in return.

Wala naman sigurong mawawala, kung
Aasa ako sa wala,
Guni-guni man ito o hindi.

Kundisyon ba ni bathala
Ang pagtitiyak,

Na mangyari man o hindi,
Aasa ako sa bukas?
Ngunit nakakapagod na,
Gumuguho na ang dating

Umaapaw na pag-asa.
Mangyari man o hindi
Ano bang magagawa?
Sino ba ang nagtala...?
Aasa ka pa ba?

Not really used to writing at all but I felt like it. Ahaha. Constructive criticism, no matter how harsh, is welcome.
