Hurt?
K Grace Sep 2016
The more & more I think of us,
The more upset I grew;
After everything I’ve been through,
I’ll always come back to you.
You’ll put me through hell and back,
But then you’ll make me feel deserved;
I wished there was something i could do,
But I guess my cries were left unheard.
As I watch others with pure joy,
I realize that I’ve never known how it feels;
To have a love that true and pure,
To have a love that’s simply real.
You’ll shut me out,
And leave me for awhile;
But then you give me that smile,
That makes it all worth the while.

To Them?
K Grace Oct 2016
Here’s to all the boys and girls;
Who wonder why they're in this world.
Here’s to the ones who stay up a night;
Trying to forget their awful fights.
Here’s to the people who think everything’s their fault;
Because of all of this needs to come to a halt.
This is for those who don’t realize how important they are;
They’re just leaving themselves looking in, from afar.

Love.
K Grace Oct 2016
You can say what you want,
Act how you feel;
But please just always remember,
Your love has been sealed.
You own my heart,
You control my life;
But being with you,
Is worth the fight.
The smile plastered on my face,
My wide eyes watching your every move;
Can’t even show how happy you make me,
It only shows a fraction of my love to you.
probably will keep adding on to this in the future.

Plans?
K Grace Oct 2016
It’s crazy, how unpredicted the future can be;
Your life goes in a direction nobody could’ve seen.
You had your whole life planned out;
Going through the motions without one doubt.
But then one day something occurs;
And everything goes by in a blur.
Because all of the plans that you once made;
Have all gone straight down the drain.
And you try and try to get everything back;
But things are just too out of whack.

Warnings
K Grace Oct 2016
She's falling in love with him,
I can see it in her eyes;
But she doesn't know what he's done,
She's oblivious to his lies.
She hasn't met the real him,
She's just distracted by his looks;
But what he did to his last love,
Has gone down in the books.
I wish someone would warn her,
Tell her everything he's done;
But it's too late, she's in too deep,
And he's already won.

Labels?
K Grace Oct 2016
Labels are such strange things;
They base who you are on what people think.
They call you  things like ‘weird, ugly, or gross’;
Based on the opinions of most.
But it is what they do not see;
That’s what really defines me.
I may look strange, awkward, or tall;
But that’s not who I am at all.
But you won't take the time to see;
Who I am and what's really me.

Truth?
K Grace Oct 2016
Why do people do things,
That they don’t really mean?;
People will tell stories,
That are different from how they’re seen.
They’ll take something,
That they don’t really know;
And they’ll take it and change it,
So it seems there is something to show.
They never mind their business,
Always wanting to cause drama;
But is it really worth it?
