Im scared to reach out and bring you down with me but I know you are exactly what I need.

For now i hold back in fear of feeling too much. But I can't help but wonder what your arms feel like when you wrap them around me. I know they are there but I feel nothing.

I see the rain, hear the thunder, and watch the lighting. I'm tempted to run out to the highest hill and pray, to whomever, to let the lightning flow through my body just in hope of restoring my ability to feel.
