Brainwashed
Julie Stormeye Sep 2014
There is a world
In which many find themselves
Trapped for eternity.
They can never escape,
No matter how loud they scream,
No matter how much they try to change.
They want a taste of the world they used to know,
Used to be a part of,
Used to be free in.
But now they have trapped themselves
In that little prison they created.
Hello, my cellmates.
The poem above describes how I feel due to letting myself get so brainwashed by Doctor Who. :(

Let Me Speak
Julie Stormeye Sep 2014
About religion -
"Down with the cross!"
About sexuality -
"The state has now outlawed gay marriage."
About racism -
"Whites rule the world."
You know what?
Let me -
"Teenagers know nothing."
I hope this doesn't come out the wrong way.  The stuff in quotations are some of the things I hear every day. Sometimes I just want to speak up, tell people how wrong their views are in my eyes, but no one will listen because I am a teenager. Hello, world.
Julie Stormeye Sep 2014
I used to be trapped.
I used to be watched
Like a bug under a microscope.
I used to be judged.
And blackmailed.
Alone, there was no way I could cope.
This was a war for love,
However wrong,
However crushed.
But it was an ant against a flood.
I cried so hard,
So long.
All because of my own flesh-and-blood.

And finally, a ray of golden sunlight
Broke through the clouds,
The rain,
And kissed the untamed waters
That surrounded my home.
Your warmth made the water evaporate -
But she wasn't gone.
Instead, she rose up to join you,
There, in the sky.
As soft white cloud beneath your golden eye.
Yet however far she was from me,
There was a closeness that would last forever.

There are days in which
You weren't feeling so hot.
She was there,
But she was distraught.
That little cloud,
She cried and cried.
Once again, the flood swirled around me.
She needed you,
But you really couldn't be there.
That little ant on the ground -
She understood.
So I asked her to come back down to Earth,
Flood my life again,
But this time,
I would ride the waves.
And I would look up
And I would see you
Still shining, beaming down at your true love.

You came back,
And lit her up again.
Once again she evaporated -
But she wasn't gone.
She was with you -
Where she should be.
But if times got tough,
She would be with me.

Thank you, my golden sun,
For kindling that bond
Between the ant and the flood.
I am the ant.
Rosie is the flood.
You (Andy Fuzz) are the golden sun.

My sister and I fought so many times about my online relationship, but you helped her see the way through. Thank you, Andy. :) Never forget how special you are.

Help Wanted
Julie Stormeye Sep 2014
It was a lonely day.
Help wanted.
I scrolled through the page.
Help wanted.
I clicked on a link.
Help wanted.
I gave you the
Help you wanted.
You were the one I wanted.
Help wanted.

The Delete
Julie Stormeye Sep 2014
I felt something awesome
Every time I saw you.
Maybe I was desperate,
And wanted one thing to be true.
Then you came around,
Asked me something I'll never forget.
"How do you delete a thread?"
"Show me the link,
I'll tell the mods."
A link was posted.
I clicked.
Love lingered somewhere,
The false and the real.
When you delete the false,
You leave the real.
Delete.

Jinxx
Julie Stormeye Sep 2014
You wanted
To talk to
Me?
"What about?"
I ask po-
litely.

Now to be
So random
With a random
Person.
But hey -
You're still family. :)
Sup, Jinxx?

To Reach You
Julie Stormeye Sep 2014
I wish that I could be famous
Just so I could reach you.
I want every song I sing,
Every movie I make,
Every story I write
To reach your heart somehow.
And then you'll follow your heart and
Leap into my life.
And I'll be waiting with open arms
So my hug can catch you
Before it's too late.
So my hug can catch you
Before it's too late.
Yeah.
I hope I can be famous.

— The End —
