Borrow
Joshua L-m Jan 2014
If the world was to end tomorrow
There isn't a single thing I'd do
Except request your heart for borrow
And paint it with affection
So it would forget all the sorrow.

"Friends"
Joshua L-m Jan 2014
Friends come and go
They come
They go

They come
They go

But Eventually

Something stops them from coming
Like the sun decides it no longer wants to light our world
Like the moon forgets to glow on romantic nights

The ocean tides bringing people up close so you can see
Exactly who they are
Only for them to be pulled away

Why do we bother

People get tired
People move on

But you

You stay exactly where you are
Not moving forward nor backward
Just in perfect stillness
With no one coming near
Not a sound
Not a flicker

Just you, in this sorrow and solitude.

I'm a little bit drunk and fallen out with all my house mates and right now I just feel that I will never be happy, I'll never be involved with an ideologic social life.

Presence
Joshua L-m Jan 2014
Empty pages left unloved
Like the atmosphere of an abandoned playground
Screaming in silence for love and affection
I would search the world if I needed to
But I have you right here to caress me with your presence

La Luna
Joshua L-m Dec 2013
The crescent moon has shown me your skeleton
The madness that lingers within
The regret of past activities
All that interaction with rightful yin

The crescent moon has told me your secrets
They rest in the pits of my palms
To be kissed with infatuation
And to leave me in qualms

But you are beautiful
In ways only the moon could show
In ways only angels could know

Refuse
Joshua L-m Dec 2013
I feel that strain in my stomach again
Like crashing waves and lightning bolts
The skies seem to have a glow of orange and red
I take a deep breath yet nothing but negativity roams my head

In this current state all I want is to be alone
Yet I wonder why I’m always lonely as if I’m trapped in this
None existent dome
Windows that show everything I don’t want to see
Everyone is doing just fine without me

I want to live by happiness not by misery
Maybe because I grew up in the age of transition
But so did all the others from the same generation
Falling like Alice down the garden hole
Bumping my head but bruising my soul

It takes time to recover from stress and depression
I’m not sure how long exactly but I think I’m close
Time runs away faster than you could ever imagine
I refuse to waste it on being sad.

Stroll along the riverbank
With a cautious mind
You'll see the mist ahead
Till your eyesight goes blind

When society bares nothing but hate
Making you feel alone and unwanted
Your brain will begin to compensate
An easy way out or a harder way in
It is your will power that takes it on the chin
That keeps us present

Questioning your existence isn't recommended
But questioning your purpose is welcomed
Someone’s close by to speak
Lets pray
They know that a meaningful silence
Helps more than uncongenial words

The sun rises and gradually begins to kiss our skin
And the mist begins to fade into a vast nothingness
That silent presence is obliged and before you know
That mysterious someone was your own reflection
All along it was your own person that pulled you out of it
Dragging yourself away from uncertainty and towards
Content.
