Innocence Taken
Captivating smiles, sparkling charm
Indecent thoughts, means to harm.
Intriguing persona, devils tongue
Darkened rooms, looking for fun.
Liquid courage, drink of deception
free will and wisdom, no longer in possession.
Bathroom stall, held against the door
clothes ripped, tattered, on the floor.
The essence, the spirit, everything broken
Coming to closure, nothing is spoken.
Nightmare over, still haunted dreams
Always with mystery, nothing is as it seems

Tears of Regret
My pillow is now stained with tears of regret,
of the unspoken words, to the one who left.

I remember the moments, the kisses, the passion,
wearing my heart on my sleeve like a new trendy fashion.

My love for you, was nothing of sport,
but so seemingly easy for you to abort.

Where are you now? How far did you travel?
In your absence, my world starts to unravel.

From the unspoken words to the one who left,
my pillow is now stained with tears of regret.

Cheated
I've seen the way you look at her
And the way you look at me
I see the way you long for her
You long to be free of me

The first time you held her close
I felt us drift apart
The first time your lips touched hers
I knew you'd left my heart

All my dreams shattered
And broken on the floor
I watch as you take your love away
Walking out of my door

Now I'm left remembering
All the memories we've had
What has made you love her so
But hate me so bad?

As I lie down alone
Unable to face the night
No words will ever make sense
Of why you said good-bye

Talkin Bout Lies
they drip from your lips
roll off of your tongue
fatal to my heart
just like a gun

you spit them in my face
like poison or venom
they twist and distort
no truth to mention

talking bout lies

i trusted you completely
until they came along
now they are your melody
flowing like a song

more intricate than spiders webs weaved
growing and mutliplying
becoming fermented and seethed

talking bout lies

they sting and burn
slowly wounding my soul
my heart now shattered, jagged
never again to be whole

they will all crash down
catch you up one day
for all the wrong, all the hurt
you soon will repay
