Sometimes the good things in life
are like getting an ice cream cone.
But you live on the north pole.

Eating ice cream isn't actually going to make you happy.

Of course
you're still gonna eat it.
It's ice cream.

I need a hug. I need to be held. I need to hold someone.
I need a hug. I need to be held. I need to hold someone.
I am starving. Wasting away. Imprisoned here, in a jail of my own making.
I need a hug. I need to be held. I need to hold someone.
I need the nourishment. Or I will fade away. Locked away in my prison of nothingness.

Please!!! Who can I ask? The walls are too high, and I'm lost in the labyrinth.
Please!!! Are you out there? Can someone hear my cries? Or are they stuck here, echoing inside?

I need a hug. I need to be held. I need to hold someone.
Just lay with me. That's all I ask.
Stay with me the night.
By my side, till the sunrise, and I can see the light.
Help me break these chains. Lead me out into the world again.

Alone in the dark, it's no way to be. Why did I choose this for myself?
I picked this cell, and I threw away the key.
But I can't bear it no more. If I stay any longer I will desiccate.

Please!!! Lend me a hand. Let me feel your touch. Hold my hand so I am not alone.
Please!!! Look me in the eyes. See me for who I am. Let me see another up close.

I need a hug. I need to be held. I need to hold someone.

Without this, I will surely die. Die before I make it out and see the light again.
