AM I ASKING FOR TOO MUCH?
Joe Barrett Mar 2017
I want someone to see me for who I am not what I look like
I want someone to want to explore my soul, my heart, my mind as much as they want to explore my body
I want someone who wants to kiss me hold my hand in public
I want someone who opens doors for me. Walk next to me making sure they walk next to the curb for my safety. Someone who will hold my hand when I step of a curb, who will kneel down and buckle my shoe when it comes loose
I want someone who will look in my eyes smile and see our lifetime together
I want someone to dance with me in the store in the rain and in the kitchen
I want someone to have dinner dates out, I want dinner dates at home with all the lights out except the candles flickering in our eyes.
I want someone to have picnics under the stars, in the park, on the beach, in the backyard and in the living room.
I want someone to have pillow fights wrestling in the leaves. Snowball fights building snowmen playing tag when it’s snowing.
I want someone to cuddle with while we watch a movie. Lay with in the grass necking and long bubble baths washing each other’s hair.
I want someone to fall asleep and wake up to in their arms. I want random texts of thinking of you. I want to find a love note left by you.
I don’t think I am asking for too much, I am just asking the wrong ones!

Asking To Much?
Joe Barrett Mar 2017
I want someone to see me for who I am not what I look like
I want someone to kiss me often anywhere and everywhere
I want someone to hold my hand anywhere and everywhere
I want someone to grab and smack my *** in public to show I am his
I want someone to look in my eyes smile, seeing a lifetime together
I want someone to dance with me in the kitchen, the store, and in the rain
I want dinner dates with the lights out and candle lights flickering in our eyes
I want picnics under the stars, in the park, on the beach, in the back yard and on the living room floor
I want play time pillow fights, wrestling in the leaves, snow ball fights, and tickle fights
I want us time cuddling, watching movies, lying in the grass kissing, bubble baths and washing each other’s hair.
I want someone to talk with that listens and remembers what I said, I want and what I desire
Am I asking for too much?

I enjoy our walks
Joe Barrett Mar 2017
Leaving footprints in the sand on a sunny summer day holding hands talking laughing giving kisses & hugs
We sit on the beach holding each other till the sun fades into the ocean
I stand and offer my hand to you and ask for a dance

Crunchy footsteps on a beautiful crisp autumn day holding hands talking laughing giving kisses & hugs
We pull each other to the ground and wrestle trying to tickle each other in the fallen leaves and settle down for a picnic. We read to each other till the sun disappears behind the trees
I stand offer my hand to you and ask for a dance

Fresh footprints in a new fallen snow holding hands talking laughing giving kisses & hugs
A snow ball fight giggles and warm kisses we talk as we build a snow man & a snow woman side by side. We sit on a blanket talk and hold each other to keep warm till the snow is flickering in the street lights
I stand offer my hand to you and ask for a dance

Walking on fresh grown grass on a spring day holding hands talking laughing giving kisses & hugs
Grabbing each other rolling in the grass tickling kissing & laughing
We talk as we plant flowers then we rub and throw dirt on each other till the sun turns to a soft spring rain
I stand offer my hand to you and ask for a dance

I love our walks
