I knew a girl, out of this world
I knew a girl, loud as a bird
I knew a girl, having a beautiful face
I knew a girl, with a mask for each place

I knew a girl, with a dark tan
I knew a girl, with a big plan
I knew a girl, with no self-esteem
I knew a girl, doing the whole team

I knew a girl, having a place to reach
I knew a girl, open to public like a beach
I knew a girl, thinking she's in the dark
I knew a girl, where anyone can park

I knew a girl, smart as a real blond
I knew a girl, clear as a muddy pond
I knew a girl, vibrant as drum beat
I knew a girl, treated like a piece of meat

I knew a girl, but she's doesn't know herself.

The Greatest Power
jimi imad Apr 2010
I wish I had the power to talk
To crack that door and just walk
Escaping those awful ****** walls
Exposing the nasty midnight calls

It was a beautiful day of winter
When I had the biggest splinter
Now stuck here unable to sing
Witnessing the pain one can bring

The first time put me in a shock
Tied on the bed still like a rock
Bruised and abused left in the dark
Deafening sobs now he seized to bark

Storms came through that famous door
It was like a vicious unit going to war
Targeted attacks while taking turns
Like a machine gun painting burns

Cheers and laughs everything in line
For once it started with a good sign
Quickly like a switch he became calm
Taking power with the knife in her palm

Things went sour for him this time
He was just like an old rusty dime
Now her mission came to a stop
When there won’t be any lives to drop

One more thing before she leaves
Burning this house of stolen dreams
From ashes to ashes and dust to dust
Vanishing herself with his eternal lust

The fire is out and I was left alone
Happy but black like a lava stone
Ready to be down and never be tall
For I was that man’s bedroom wall

Going over all the things you’ve got
Questioning your one and only plot
Watching a picture turning into a dot
While being drowned in a tiny ***.

Every new day brings the same old thing
Waiting for the bell to get you out of this ring
Taking every hit, feeling every sting
Like a bee attack on a beautiful day of spring.

Time for the old darkness to bring light
Giving you a time out from your fight
To watch your dreams fly like a kite
And your hopes fall before you take a bite.

The new light comes before it goes
Like a flower dying before it grows
Now stuck in a world where life froze
Still, like a carcass covered with crows.

God help me to understand
I don’t know where I stand
Feeling like this is my end.

I was raised to believe
Praying every single eve
For me this world to leave.

I never gave up on you
Praying, asking what to do
But I was left with no clue.

I’m bored talking to myself
As if the mighty turned deaf
Or maybe you’re just a weak elf.

So forgive me if I don’t believe
For me you’re always on a leave
When I needed you from my pain to relieve.

...The Unfinished
jimi imad Feb 2010
Came to a strange place,
To a world with no face,
Hunting for a better case.

Equipped for those long days,
Hoping God could answer my prays,
To move up and reach that glaze.

Time passed like a speeding boat,
Fading out like a washed up coat,
Leaving me wrestling to float.

Alone in a cold waste,
Lifeless like cement paste,
The world has lost its taste.

Walking down this dark lane,
Waiting for a drop of rain,
To wash out this great pain.

A sudden drip I hear,
A dim light appear,
And things became clear.

Darkness shines on a warm soul,
Putting end to this endless fall,
Handing me a friend am proud to call.

The Living Corpse
jimi imad Feb 2010
All I see is black
Like a moonless night
Beauty holding back
Ugly wins the fight.

Free she was born
Prisoner she was raised
Great weight she borne
Greater price she paid.

God blessed her with a face
Men cursed her with a veil
Spirits made her in a high place
Society through her in a deep vale.

Hating her own kind
Preferring the other side
Life destroyed her mind
From being put aside.

Choices can’t be made
Thoughts not allowed
Smiles begin to fade
Cries became loud.

Dreams dropping like flies
Nightmares coming to life
Pain showing in her eyes
Like being stabbed by a knife.

Now moving like a walking ghost
Passing through with crushed up hopes
Hopes she had but now are lost
The day she was born a corpse.
