What dream?
Jess Sep 2020
Chasing a dream
That doesn't exist
Living in a world with too many risks
Risking it all
Just to be happy
To smile,
Say that I'm worthy
But really
I'm never really smiling
The world is always mad
Its painful to be happy
And easy to be sad
So what dream am I chasing?
Most days aren't worth a smile
I don't know where I'm going
No signs in sight
I'll keep trying to find the way
No time for doubt
Nor fear
Just justice
With less doubts

Oh Monday
Your a day
Full of heartache
Lots of gray

You start out sunny
Then comes the rain
Then the anger
With lots of pain

Oh Monday
I hate your day

24 Days In The Hour
Jess Aug 2020
Mind all over the place
Too much stress to be free
Countless days of no sleep
No naps, no dreams
No time for me
Time is ticking
No faster than usual
24 hour days
Feel like 24 days in a hour
Lost in time
With no clue of the hour
No wrist watch to wear
Or clock on the wall
Anger controls ever emotion
Every limb, every feel
Your mad, ******
Want to be heard
Your shut out
No control
Your mind is blown
All your anger is about to unfold
Tear down a wall
Knock down doors
You need to be heard
Express your emotion
Your angry
Move out my path
To avoid any wrath

Strength
Jess Aug 2020
Do u ever feel alone?
When your not
Surroundings full
No sound
Lost in your mind
No sight, no thoughts
Walking past dust
Just trapped in the ash
Crumbling down
Soon swept away
How important are you?
Just dust
Soon to fade away
Pain is present
But fades away too
Taking over your body
Who can you trust?
You and your pain
Floating away.......

Stronger than u think
Smarter than u feel
Pain is only temporary
But you still need a shield
Protect you from the hurt
Guard you from the blame
Make you stronger
To deal and maintain

Alone
Jess Aug 2020
Quiet room
Loud thoughts
Focused on the past
What you can't get back
Slowly drops a tear
Then you scream out pain
Mourning what you lost
