Sirens all around me
Blood dripping from head
My breath growing short
I hear please don’t be dead

My body is so cold
It’s my time, I must go
A hand caresses my face
And I hear please don’t let go

Fading into blackness
I know I haven’t much longer
I use all the strength I have left
And I say please know your love made me stronger

Embrace my warmth
Inhale my love
Capture my heart
Leave me cold
Destroy my soul
Break my heart
Kiss me softly
Touch me gently
Take me passionately
Conquer me completely
Torture me sweetly
Ignore me vengefully
Disregard me easily
Break me down with a smile
Haunt me no more

I fear the night,
For I know I'll be in his sight
He comes to me in my dreams
Ripping my clothes at the seams
His red flesh against mine,
As he heads to my neckline
His fangs sink in,
He has broken the skin
As he enjoys his ****** treat,
I lay there in defeat
I shudder at the sight
of his demonic delight
Blood dripping from his lips,
As he moves in to steal a kiss
My lips now covered in red
From the blood I shed
He looks at me with satisfaction
Hoping I give the same reaction
But I don't dare,
for this is my nightmare.

The truth is..I cannot fault you, for I have given you permission...permission to take me here...to this place that is so cold, so empty, where I am consumed by regret and wrapped up in anguish...where love is lost and I am left silently broken...

The truth is...the blame is upon us both...you were so unclear...I was so afraid...afraid to let you in...afraid of what we could have been...so I let you go, without a fight...now I suffer the consequences...cutting my soul open...I leave a trail of my pain behind me...

The truth is...I allowed my heart, to get lost among the games and lies... it's time I face reality...you were never meant to belong to me...as I wasn't to you...you are better off as a memory...living in my dreams... that's where you reside...Forever more...

We are told that monsters only appear in our dreams,

And that they could never really hurt us.

To be safe we keep the light on hoping that will keep them away

But what about the monsters who come when you’re not asleep

The ones who hurt you over and over

And no amount of light will keep them away
