What is a writer?
He will take you up a mountain
With nothing more than a turn of the page
He will fulfill all of your dreams
Without increasing your age
He will bring your nightmares to life
As he sings you a lullaby
He will transform you into your best
As he teaches you to fly

Chain My Heart To Yours
I wanna lead you
Hold and believe you
Never deceive you
I love you
I need you
Alive,
I can breathe you
Under the stars
We both compete with
Affection that we give
Our love is a sin, but
Don't be quick to judge

The jury is sleeping
As dead as romance
The jester is weeping
They cut off his hand
For stealing her heart
Cause theft is a burden
On all broken hearts
Shattered dreams
And battered screams
Your my work of art

No matter the quarrel
The flaws or the distance
Love is a bond as
Real as existence
So before I steal your heart
I'll give you mine
So we will glow
And our love will shine

O, Brother
There must be good in this world we live in
I mean how could I have the kindest of heart today
With poverty, drug abuse and corruption
Taking victims one by one, family by family
Drought and famine, greed and shame
Men without homes, women abandoned with their children
For me to cast stones in the glass house I live in
A dime would certainly increase in value
A penny for my thoughts?
How about a dollar for your smile...

Always
As I promise I will never die at the hands of you, I won't break, I won't cry--but I will agree to dance with you. Thread by thread--I'm torn not dead. I need a purpose not a coffin, There's no reason said more often than a promise that is broken, into pieces one by one, I'll shove them down my throat if I have to, through my heart I will ask you--forgive me I'm not mean, red with blood my hands aren't clean, I wish to ask you will you please, accept this on my knees, and as imperfect as I am, and as flawed as I seem, listen to my question, I'll ask you once, but there's no need for this promise I will keep....always

Magic
Passion cannot be forced
Unless you and your reality
Become divorced
Then, and only then
Could you grasp your
Rusty pen
And ride upon
Your winged horse

Reverie
I run from my fate
As I walk beside an angel
The demon close behind
Through hallways in my mind
I hide and it seeks
Like a child’s game of danger
Its eyes appear to grasp
My neck as I just gasp
For air, it’s not there
I have to break, its iron hold
I want to banish, all this cold
Barren emotion
In my head
Indication
That I’m dead
I press my fingers to my eyes
To settle down and realize
I’m dreaming
Just dreaming
Imagination wild
My own inner child
Defining what I see
Is just another mystery

Confessions of an Anarchist
Here I take a stand
Against all the crimes of passion
I'll make all my demands
Just keep the mob from flashin'

And here's to all the fans
Of the criminal fashion
I'll tie all of their hands
To stop all the out lashin'

This world may never be
Brought down to only ashes
This train of anarchy
Will be the one that crashes

As I give my confession
I was once like them
So let this be a lesson
And let this be the end

The end of all the madness
And all of the fatality
And families of sadness
From dealing with these casualties

Generica (lyrics)
While I scream into my pillow
I couldn't grasp the storm
A bold-gutted thriller
And a believer is born

Believe, no lies
Just entangled in your
Disguise
I see, you try
Just wipe the tears
From your eyes
I am this hidden place, motionless within you

Piercing your disguises, growing stale
You know, the ones you defined with trust
Why now put them to waste?
The thick and thin—right through you,
This swollen tension rises. Provisions fail.
Below the grunge, a soul of rust,
Has peeled away down to the bone
Not a sliver left to shed
Corpse identity unknown…
Your fate would soon be sealed,
In the promises shattered
Those scars will never heal,
Until you’re debtless ever after
The lesions drain the lies
Out all except your mouth,
And how they cheer in awe
Witnessing your downfall,
The flames will not subside
When you’re begging on the ground,
Don’t try to climb the walls
The blaze won’t melt their frost,
However there is one way out
But you must pay the cost.

What a picture is worth
There is always love
Burning a candle at both ends
Filling the air with hope
Melting wax slowly descends

Nothing is infinite
Forever isn't real
Just stumble upon a dream
A fiction you can feel

SPLINTER
Take me to the sky,
Bring me to your feet and I’ll ask you why,
Take me on a hike,
Bring me far away just as far as you like,
Bury me in filth,
Let me dream in peace like the time that you killed,
Carry me away,
Bring me to the place where the pain won’t stay
Can you make it go away? Here I wait alone,
Can you turn my night to day? Only there I roam
The skies looking over can make us all colder,
The brave and the bold are the ones, who will live,
The mountains around us, the ones who have found us,
Who worshipped and crowned us are the ones that we give,
To sacrifice, we suffocate, in avarice, we congregate,
Make me wonder why,
Bring me to the ground and then to the sky,
Turn the day to night,
Blow at the sun just as much as you like,
Changing left to right,
Ready for the punch line, are you ready for the fight?

FOREVER INFINITE
I’m not so ******* perfect
Mediocre at best
I only care about her
Don’t care about the rest
I’ll swim in seas of rage
I’ve slept in fields of sorrow
Let outside of my cage
Live only for tomorrow
And in these barren roads
I learn integrity
Although I am alone
I know who sets me free
And she is beside me
We dance to symphonies
The only air we breathe
The one epiphany
Forever. Infinite.

GLADIATORS
don't ever think you're the best
until you've climbed a mountain
don't even waste my time
until you've drunk from my fountain
my rhythm, my rhyme
my legend, my crime
innocent as the moon is bold
magnificent as the sea is cold
you cry, you beg
you may even scream
the words pour out of your mouth
like steamy fog
it lingers, it loiters
for corrupted exploiters
tears weep and they crash
out poison and trash
and you have the nerve
to just push me away
through the black and the white
thick and thin shades of gray
you might hear my words
you teach what i preach
but just remember
my voice may be tender
and yours will subside
i'm your last contender

AMBIANCE
Triumphant hands
Evaluate this stone
Chisel and hammer
Carve into bone
A skull, a scar
A scare, a seed
Of hopeful rays
And harmony
The fog of dawn
Is cleared and gone
Assembling the pieces
I built the foundation
Eased into thoughts
A joy of sensation
The wind carves the clouds
Above and around me
This ocean of filth
Is ceasing to drown me
I stand on a mountain
To reach for a star
And each one I find
Gets rid of a scar

TRIPPIN
Through the valleys
Through the forests
Down the dirt roads
With your two fists
Wrapped around
The grip of the handles
Sunlight burns
Like a thousand candles
Singed, it crashes
Through the glass
Coated, with ashes
You’re going fast
Another bump
Another hill
Another way
To get my thrill
now you’re close to
The finish line
Have you got what it takes
To win the prize
There you rip
Right through the gears
Defying, all that you fear
Are you trippin?

SOMETHING AMAZING
You have some gorgeous eyes
More beautiful than an angel’s
As if you came down from the skies
And sought out to find me, courageous
You have the brightest smile
Even brighter than the stars
Illuminating miles
Crowds eagerly waiting in line
To cure all their ‘osities
And satisfy their ears
The sound of your voice is
So pleasing to hear
You have the greatest heart
Of love and a touch of hope
It’s what’s setting you apart
And what sets you free from the rope
That holds even the strongest back
From following through with a dream
A dream that all others have lacked
But you have completed, I see
I have the best that there is
The person who holds the key
To my heart and nobody else
And you are the reason I breathe
You have some gorgeous eyes
More beautiful than an angel’s
As if you came down from the skies
And sought out to find me, courageous

FOREVER SKIES
Forever Skies
Raised hands, closed eyes
Can you TAKE the time?
Can you GIVE the time?
If you fit the crime,
Will you run away?
Living, breathing device
Would you care to say...
These skies will go forever
But how far will you fly?
How far will you soar?
How much will you try?
How much are you begging for?
Are you there, or are you sleeping?
Do you see the forest weeping,
Shedding leaves like tears,
Rain, wash away these fears...
Can you TAKE the time?
Can you GIVE the time?
With your raised hands,
And your closed eyes,
Will you ever notice
These forever skies?

LIKE YOU
i used to be like you,
dead stares in darkened rooms,
thoughts were without hue,
even the ocean couldn't bring
a strong enough wave
to match what you've been through...
i used to be like you,
chained necks and wrists were scarred,
behind wrought iron bars,
even the sun couldn't burn a hole
into your sad, sad eyes filled with tar...
i used to see like you did,
sorrow stuck like glue did,
mouth taped and muted,
rage couldn't be computed,
i used to be like you,
remember all the broken hearts,
now they're mended,
except your's,
your pain extended,
you hurt like you depended,
on the stars ripped open tendons,
to lift you back up again,
but i remember now,
i used to be like you

WINGED SWINE
Oh, please won’t you count them fall
Crystals like a diamonds shine
Let them sit upon your hand
Watch them leave the day behind
Calling out to you
I’m calling out to you
Waiting now for you
I’m waiting now for you
Why won’t they spread their wings and fly
Let them loose and set them free
Let them soar into the sky
Take a look at you and me
Fell the frost come off their wings
Falling down and glistening
Stand and catch them on your tongue
And listen to the angels sing
Falling down to you
They’re falling down to you
Calling out to you
They’re calling out to you

AUDIOPHILE
Chemical chains, the synapse, the grain
And forced, discreet , just pick up your feet
Emerge, the irony, nerves are complete
The scapegoat, the time, disguised in your crime
A field, left untouched
A song and a glow, for all those who know
Cracks in the concrete
Adjust the volume, edge of your seat
Bass, treble, iron hits the metal
Go grab a ride, and pedal, pedal, pedal
Shock therapy, through the ears, it would sound
An audiophile, without fear, is now found

UNDERSTOOD
Do you know what I mean when I tell you I’m scene, I’ve been seen, not obscene, and I’m not pulled far down, like a clown, I am found, like a cloud, in the sky, in the crowd, wondering why, I’m a saint not an ain’t and I’ll put on MY paint, I won’t faint, to be quaint, and I know you will go, when I tell you to stop, it won’t show if you’re  dropped, like a bomb on a nation, a very dumb situation, will not throw me out, though I pit and I pout, do you know what it’s about, I’m a man not a dog, I won’t sit when you shout, there’s the needle in this haystack, and what I mean is to payback, the sheep and the scholars, wearing  cheap woven collars, I’m not waiting for you, if you’re waiting for me cause my me has been found, and she’s standing her ground, so, I preach and I scream, but do you know what I mean???

GLAD
I’m glad to see you’re laughing
I’m glad to and also proud
I’m glad to know that you are
The best to be around
It’s not the stars around us
That’s creating your glow
It shines so bright around us
An aurora we can know
So joyous, they are clapping
There is love within the air
So joyous, are the clouds
Amidst the beauty that you wear
You are what I always wanted
Don’t change a single bit
You are who I always dreamed of
You make my candle lit
I’m glad to see your laughing…

ROSES ARE RED
Her wings are gold but silver lined
Her eyes greeted us as she would glide
The curses rose from every soul
From every heart left cleansed inside

Watch her in her grace and glory
As her beauty tells a story
Of her life of purity
Raining hope and slowly pouring

Roses are red
But violets are blue
If I were to lose her what would I do?
Thoughts in my head
Cycled through and through
This world abused her and blinded she flew
Away and depressed
The pain has still grown
And I was impressed, the restraint she’d shown
Yet she has been blessed
With a seed of hope
And again one day she will come home.

Hello Sky
Hello sky
Can I dry your eyes today?
Hello sky
It's a pity that you cry, today
Hello sky
Can I wipe the tears off of your face
Hello sky
Can all of your clouds embrace
Hello sky
I mentioned you before
Hello sky
Your sunny days, what I adore
Hello sky

Pleased to Eat You
One late afternoon on a warm summers day as I enter my room on the bed there she lay, covered in pedals of roses I’d add, and the lights were as dim as the hue was too sad, but the night was still young and she started to greet, please do come in, stay awhile, take a seat, still I sensed a danger, one thing was awry, it was a full moon but no stars in the sky, I turned and looked down and she remained on the bed, I let down my guard and stood by her instead, she knelt down before me and was sobbing a storm, when I asked her what’s wrong she said it was mourn, for her late husband who with the benefit of the doubt was killed on this day three years ago, about, I said it’s okay, I’ll be here for you, then she stood up, she said that won’t do, you see I’m not the person you think, I’m not just a woman and before I  could blink, the lights all went out and I was no longer secure, for she whispered to me in a soft feline purr, I’m human by day but by night I am feared, my husband was first, pleased to eat you, my dear.

A Moment Of Your Time
A Moment Of Your Time

Only in a moment
When the winds have stopped their churning
When everyone’s a hero
And the clocks hands always turning
I lay and watch the clouds
One by one as they never cease
As they float above the mountains
You can tell there’s still a breeze
Oh, it’s only in a moment
That you can play all your cards right
Because, only in a moment
You’ll find the peace within your life

Every night
Repeat the line
Those priceless words
They come to life
Intensify
Feelings that I
Receive when you
Begin to wrap
Your arms around
Around my neck
In the night, I never question
Every day, it’s my obsession
To parallel my eyes with yours
It’s the sparkle I adore
My heart was bound
When I had found
The key to yours
That opened doors
I will always be with you
You help me to continue
Through this life which is now yours
We can always open doors
Even the world can’t stop us
No one else could rock us
