Agony...
to know what I want just doesn't want me
still my hope is so strong
enough to make me impale myself
repeatedly
on stupidity
Oww! That hurt!
Thank you Sir!
May I have another?
Some people can have such sinister intentions
Am I alone in this world?
Where love still reigns
GOOD defeats EVIL
Soldier of love march on!
Fight the battle.
My shield blazes the symbol of INNOCENCE
I will conquer all doubt.

You are so beautiful
And I have never felt such a range of emotion
My love is returned
My love is received
I am so amazed
As I  see my reflection in your green eyes
And my heart is full

Two souls bound together through love
dedicated to sharing life's trials
sacrificing your own selfish pride
bending to anothers will
giving yourself over and over
hoping for happiness
comforting each other in sadness
tears that flow without embarrassment
complete in the understanding
two halves that make a whole
accepting each others differences
there is no better feeling in this world
than finding your love
it's like coming home
always knowing this person
this place
is where you are belong
my happy ending
my destiny

suspended
above solid ground
hazy state of mind
clouded judgements
doubt...easy to find
fear's fuel
inner voices
sounding far behind
same choices
continual grind
sea of faces
usual strangers
affectionately known as acquaintances
never mistaken as friends

Away from reality
fast forward through time
to the constant grind
seeing life as it is
fleeting moments
loved ones growing old
distance between family ties stretching out for miles
walking down life's road
trying to see your direction
losing sight of the path
traveling through the darkness
waiting for the failing light of dawn
to burn through the nights veil
turning coldness into warmth
and darkness into light

You lie here next to me
solid...warm...sleeping
what is it about this moment
that captures it in time?
a part of me will always hold you here
and remember
that moment when you were mine

You do this thing
this thing where you change your mind
one day you are hot for me
the next day you are so cold
when you are hot the world seems to be a little bit brighter
I smile and my soul feels like it is flying
......and I am on fire
when you are cold my mind seems to be at a constant state of unrest
my heart is like a stormy sea of confusion
........and I shiver
then you call
and I am happy again

Looking out over the ocean
waves crash against the sand
first sounding enormous
then slowing....receding
into the calm shores.
Relentless.....lapping
powerful sensations
reminding me of the whirlwinds of a storm.
That builds up ferociously at first
...only to die out
Rain washes away
revealing beautiful sparkling drops
sunset's brilliance, many colors combine
to create light blues, oranges, then reds
purple's passion...fading to pink
A million grains of sand.
Leaning back against the dunes
supporting my weight like a pillow.
Suddenly the pressure of my world lifting.
Remember peace?
Hope restores, strength rebuilds
Loving every sound and feeling good
even ambitious again.

Your admissions leave a sour taste in my mouth
you take me along a path towards bliss
then you recoil just as we start to find
warmth..love..happiness
your mind becomes my heart's enemy
as you question everything to death
you are love's critic
and i am your fool

You are the perfect in me
my very own miracle
There is a lifetime of inspiration
from one of your smiles
Worth lifelong battles
pricelessly won is your admiration
makes me yearn for better days
This is the truest deepest of emotions
untouched by doubt or fear of betrayal
unafraid of any consequence or death
worse than being without you
Tristan, every sacrifice in your honor
leads me to the greatest of treasures
which is your love
you are my son
the only real love I've ever known

Your fingers
are so long
and I am in a trance
just watching..
as they push and pull me
tugging at my soul
the world starts to spin
I am losing control
they circle around my neck
and you run them through my hair
my heart is pounding
all I can do is stare
.....at your fingers
