'Tis the night that witches fly,
Upon their broomsticks across the sky,
Goblins and ghost and trolls delight,
Never seen in broad daylight.
Werewolves roam this full moon night,
Stay out of the woods, keep away from their bite.
Eye of newt and rabid bat wings,
These are just some of the things,
That go in the kettle of witches brew,
A special concoction, especially for you.

The cemetery is dark where the ghouls like to play,
A place  were even the rats stay away.
The shadows are lurking behind the gravestones,
The screech of the banshee to chill your bones.
The skeletons dance upon the graves,
Of those who died on Halloween day.
The vampires search by night of day,
To **** the blood of those they prey.
From out of the moors six horses approach,
A headless horseman is driving the coach,
He stops at the crossroads and swings open the door,
Beware the raven, as he sings "Nevermore".

I saw you through the window of a local department store,
And I knew that you were the only one I'd want forever more,
Something in my heart did say that you were meant for me,
But you never turned around, you never did see me.

Turn around, take a look, tell me what do you see,
Do you see that lonely person, do you see me.
I need your loving can't you see what your doing to me,
Turn around, Take a look, tell me what do you see.

I saw you sitting at a table at the Riverside café,
It was at the end of Spring, on a sunny day in May,
You were sitting there and reading and drinking a glass of tea,
But you never turned around, you never did see me.

Turn around, take a look, tell me what do you see,
Do you see that lonely person, do you see me,
I need your loving can't you see what your doing to me,
Turn around, take a look, tell me what do you see.

I saw you at church today in your wedding dress,
He was standing next to you looking his very best,
You turned around and down the aisle a smile for all to see,
But you never turned around, you never did see me.

Turn around, take a look, tell me what do you see,
Do you see that lonely person, do you see me,
I need your loving can't you see what your doing to me,
Turn around, take a look, tell me what do you see.

Not so long or far away,
There is a place were memories stay,
A place where thoughts of years gone by,
Gather together of you and I.
Now and then a memory sneaks,
Inside my mind it will peek,
And there I see your lovely face,
Your hair all tied in Summer's lace.

Not so long or far away,
Upon a hill there is a grave,
Upon the grave there is a stone,
Standing there so all alone.
Upon the stone it is inscribed,
With all my love I do and die.
Without your love there is no life,
I love you so my darling wife.

Not so long or far away,
My life will end some Winter's day,
And when the day my life does end,
From this earth I will ascend.
Someday soon my wife I cry,
I'll be there by your side,
With my thoughts of you in mind,
I'll search and search till you I find.

Not so long or far away,
Upon the stone it will say,
That I loved you and you loved me,
We'll be together through eternity.
Now I put my memories to sleep,
I lock them up and safely keep,
Until the day my life does end,
I'll keep them close till we meet again.

The sign on the marquee says "Live Tonight",
But the lights they have been dimmed,
For the stage it will be empty,
And the curtains have been trimmed.

The plane was lost in Tennessee,
And the golden voice was stilled,
The disc-jockey held back the tears,
As he announced that Patsy Cline was killed.

Country stars and fans alike,
Were saddened by the news,
For a woman whose love of life,
Was to sing the country blues.

The Grand Ole Opry is silent,
At the loss of a good friend,
But the music from this country star,
Will last till time does end.

The sign on the marquee says "Live Tonight",
And Patsy Cline will sing,
For the lord so loved her beautiful voice,
That to heaven, Patsy, he did bring.
