As I fade, into this night of broken dreams,
I envision our souls repleted in heavenly wisdom,
devoid of hate, for you I feign.
And though I dream, I lie awake,
alone with each breath I nervously take.
Oh! How I wish you could see,
the changes you have made of me.
For surely you would know that our love,
was never once a game to me.

For the day has come,
to embark on my journey,
follow if you dare.

Where are you, my beloved?
How have you left my grasp?
Our love has seemed to drain from its intoxicating flask.
At the hour of our separation, I went mad.
My day's have been dark, and my night's oh so sad.
For you in my heart was all that I had.
I wish I was there to comfort you at times when you get sad.
If only, if only,
a chance is what I had.

Through my penetrating articulation I separate the false,
instigating my reasoning with your sad pathetic thoughts.

I knew at once what your mind had foreseen,
drenching the city with your fiery Kerosene.

I have brought the match to make light of your deeds,
you'd have gotten away,
if it hadn't been for me.

My soul is my pen, my heart its ink.
I write to you my intuition with the gesture of a wink.
Though I blink and so I write,
our love has progressed without a doubt in sight.
If only we could return to that once intrepid night,
when we sang together with our souls,
the whispers of the night.

Although you seek truth,
I disparage your reason;
look toward heaven.

From day to day I rest my mind,
from the daily turmoils that lay hidden inside.

For how has it become of our nation's taboo,
to sit down all day like social-media infected baboons?
