The taste
The smell
The touch
The laughter and tears
What I would do to just hold your hand
There's no need for words - it's simply understood
To look into your eyes
I see them and I know you see mine
Memories we made with absolutely no class nor grace are the ones I hold close
We were free
Didn't give not one ****, not even a little bit.
On top of the world we were
Music pumped through our veins -

Arm in arm we faced the world
You were different and so was I
If we wanted to run away, we ran to one another or together
Home base - time out - safe

I dance and I feel you
Sing and I hear you
Cry and I feel you
I can still hear your infectious laugh

The last words I spoke to you
" I love you, call me  tomorrow."
I didn't know there wasn't going to be a tomorrow for you.
I just don't understand
I had clay under my nails and a flask in my hand 3 days later
I'm sorry I haven't been to see you since then-you're not really there anyways.
