the day has been over for hours for some people
but for you, it's just getting your mind started

where is he?
the boy who makes your heart race
who holds you close at your worse
who kisses your rosy cheeks
who leaves marks on your neck with black and blue

he's simply sleeping
maybe even dreaming of you
and when he wakes up,
he can think through of the dream of you two kissing and laughing at anything

but for you?

you can live in the reality you have with him now
not just through dreams, but from the thoughts

one day, we can own a home
be lazy, lay in bed, talk about books, or cuddle around with each other

but for now, all we are, are dreams and thoughts of our future

what happens when the galaxy decides to swallow the stars

one by one, humans will no longer have that light to wish on

whether it was for that old loved one to return into your arms
a job where you can actually enjoy yourself
a meal or snack to munch on to get you through your day
to get out of the misery of being alone
to have enough money to buy that cd that helped you get through that one hard time
or just to have somewhere to sleep for the night, even with the presence of a lover

but then why would we need those stars, when earth is on the galaxy's list next
