I always believed that this world was perfect
But that was only a fantasy that I made myself believe in
Knowing how cruel it is hurts me
But something else hurts me more

Now I start seeking for the truth

I've always wondered why I ever let you go
You were the most beautiful being I have ever laid eyes on

My body starts to vanish
And soon I vanished into thin air

But before I disappeared we made a promise
A promise that might never come true
As tears of rain start falling

I remember seeing you sit in a dark corner
However you started to change
You evolved from a lonely girl into a shining star
Always having the attention of everyone you meet

My past is blurry because of the accident I had 7 years ago
After I had been hospitalized, they told me I suffered sever injuries to my head
There forth I had amnesia since then

My memories are scattered inside of me
Not allowing me to remember anything before the accident I had

I had given up years ago finding what it was

I was unsure on what to say at the time
But as time passes we got to know one another

When the time came, I confessed to you

As you told me, my missing fragments came rushing back to me

When we were younger, I had confessed to you
But you didn't have the same feelings as I did

That day had been the day of my accident

As we spent time together, you started to open your heart up to me
I also saw you smile for the first time
However, when a speeding car came
I shoved you out of the way and took the hit

As I was loosing consciousness, I promised you
That if I had a second chance, I would fall in love with you all over again

As we met our promise of falling in love
3 long years have passed since then
You and I are now married and living with our first born child
Smiling at each other and our child

You were raised to become a shield

A shield and sword have different roles to play

As each passing days go by
Our emotions, our feelings start to fade away slowly
We have seen many blood spilt before our eyes
Now it has become a daily occurance in the world we live in

Now days, weeks, months and even years have pass since that day
You are still full of happiness mixed with sadness in the life you live in
But as you tilt your head up towards the sky with a smile on your face

As my fatigue disappears I continue onwards yet again

My adventures almost over
But I have one last place to go
I carry myself up this steep mountain of snow
However I come to the top for a view

As the light arises in the morning
I race down this mountain
Only to see my destination
I stop or a moment once again

I'm surrounded by familiar faces
My fantasy stops to show me reality
I close my eyes and lift my head up towards the clear sky
This feeling makes me feel in peace but also cold
I open my eyes to see the winter snow
