The winding whispers of a newborn leaf
Uncurl its muted rhymes
And weave the Lord’s eternal song
Among the trails of time

God’s risen Son reclaims our souls
To rouse a slumbering earth
And spins a fragrant melody
That mirrors our rebirth

Mingling shadows shake the stillness
Ringing through the trees
In hushed remembrance of the ancient cross
That held salvation’s key.

Faded murmurs of the Savior’s voice
Engulf the rambling sky
To wrap her soul in solitude
Where untouched dreams reside

The rosy frailty of a budding branch
Dethrones its broken past
Hung with the breath of dormant hopes
Resurrected at long last

My wild wanderings lead me back
Where the wide-eyed crocus stirs
A transient token of abiding grace
As long as faith endures

From Christ’s surrender arose new life
Where the light of redemption springs
His footsteps call my spirit home
Borne on eternity’s wings.

Rattle the orchard’s knotted limbs
and harvest from the fray,
forsaken garnets snared in doubt,
betrothed to blind decay.

Tune your soul to the air of expectance
that wavers in the grass…
of smoke sewn into ripened groves
as hours straddle past.

The whip of wings atop the hollow
trumpets the waning year…
a song unwritten, once laid by,
reborn and shuttled near.

The Lord entwines His hand with ours
fastened to our lives
and plucks us each, while bruised and marred
as a lone protected prize.

A thousand candles pierce the shutters
tethering our stride.
The Spirit sounds a lifelong score
that tugs us to His side.

I"ll swing by the corner of the old stone wall
'til the wildwood flickers with gold
when the last rose of summer hands me her breath
in the pale flush of unspoken hopes.

A sliver of newness rooted in grace
clings to the mellowing earth
to soak the windswept loneliness
tinged with silent mirth.

Each twinkling hour spins its secrets
strung on a withering bough
and slips through the shadows of fallen trust
to the light that Christ endows.

Wrapped in the Lord's abiding strength
I lend a warming clasp
and feel the year's adventures ring
preserved within God's grasp.

The broken hush of a faltering prayer
shaken still with fear
sweeps through the golden emptiness
where Jesus draws us near.

Tomorrow pours its steady promise
caught in the twilight's stare
and wakes His peace within our hearts
that guards the midnight air.

I followed the echoes of yesterday's dreams
forgotten in the sky
where time surrenders its steady breath
with a fluttering, muttering sigh.

God's handblown cathedral unveils His glory
shrouded in undying grace
and carves upon each crimson torch
a legacy of faith.

An unguarded mystery waits at my window
as the spice of adventure rings
a patchwork of swirling memories
woven in the wind.

A timid yearning shakes the earth
and churns her hidden prayers
for unsung joys that still our hearts
entrusted in God's care.

Hope indwells each smiling leaf
and cradles its fragile light.
The still, sweet murmurs of a day gone by
unfold in endless flight.
