Oceans child
Morning Star Apr 2021
Into darkness waters deep
Cut the steel of creeper wrath
Empty safe a shallow tomb
Angel of the oceam doom
Take away the shallow one
No sign of what evil was done
No care for how the evil slay
No one to save her no one to help
Drop like stones upon the rocks
No more safe or hidden cloth
Slip away as moring comes
Like only dream can do
Until No sign of her at all
My once a gentle tomb
Now when the ocean calls your name
Elisabeth I hide in shame
No telling of your name
No marks of all the pain
Only waters wash away
Only memories fade away
No words to speak
For silence still
You speak and they will swiftly seek
Your Life will also end asleep
But somewhere up in heavens stars
Your safe and still shine in the dark
And I know you were once of me
A beautiful Angel now set free
U was a child what could I do
To rescue me to rescue you
Only the universe can stop them
While I stay in the dark

light the spring
Morning Star Apr 2021
When summer breezes came.
The sun's warmth a golden crisp of time
Melts the cold ice inside of you
No more broken winters bite
No more tears by candle light
No more burns of frost at night
No more chills the winds of fright
Only warmth if summers glow and song of birds
And trickle of the stream now flow
Gentle waters warm a fragile heart
Till strong a smile and eyes they see no dark
Yellow is now all that melts your day and ice cold blue it melts away.
Be happ free dont let the walls now climb
Only honey suckle light to gaze upon.
Open up a flower of new light
The spring still has a whisper in the night
Take a gentle brush its colours bright
On a new canvas now you write...

Cript
Morning Star Apr 2021
The ice cold castle winter's chill of death
Come cashing down
where winter's steel cold cript
Dragons make the night seem less cold
With fire of eyes and wings out swept
Looking out she awaits her fait
His steps now close
He gathers speed creates the fear slays the dragons she hides in shadows but he sees her there
Captivated by her loving stare
He takes her to the lake once more holds her but she does not feel his touch
Talks but she does not hear his love
In the morning he wakes she is gone into water deep she enters in
Captured by the tortured timeless spell
Untill the night fall once again she hears  his call but turns to shadows storm
Castle walls cannot hold her safe
Only dragons her hope now take.
Searching for the lady of the lake.
Shallow waters her escape

Baptism of poppies
Morning Star Dec 2020
By Morning Star – Dec 2020

The sky’s light burns
a crimson glow of pain—
Amen of all sin.
Nations sigh.

They look up
to who they once adored,
in sorrow—
Yet poppies,
they will all endure
tomorrow.

Tears of rain
fall from the heavens above,
Slowly filling rivers
with his blood.

Yet still,
the mighty
have not understood.

Silent,
in their shallow reverie.
Eyes are open,
yet still they do not see—

The simple love.
The peace
of humanity.

Cross blood sea.
Cross blood sea
This reads like a prayer for those lost and a warning for those who still choose power over peace. It’s compact, but deeply resonant.
Religious language ("Amen," "baptism") as contrast to violence

The symbol of the poppy as both remembrance and resilience

Nature (rain, rivers, sky) as witness to human brutality

A call for awakened compassion

November, her grasp of darkest storm
Hunts the coldest deepest forest before the winter's snow
Still the small and fragile lie in fear
She strikes with vengeance straight into their soul
Only shallow breath can now be heard
Slayed in night and cold dead waters curd
No one to save the gentle loving smile
No one to take away to terrors bile
A memory's  once forgotten dream
A light of moon a dance once on a sream
A summers day with lazy waves and wine
A love of a child playing in the sun
Now sleep for in your wake the summer comes

To the place you fear to where the dark you hear
Go through the waters edge
Call for the fires core
Turn your back and there
There is fear but this is what you requested
This time its your demand
Take it all as if it is the last
Dont hide now welcome as your pass
Let it burn and fill you with the pain
Let's its journey break you once again
For know that if its yours the evil cast
The witches have no place no spell they cast
Become the wizards sword
Be stronger overcome them all
Only then you fear subsides
As you become the sword  to strike
The essence of the night is yours

The North storm
Morning Star Jun 2020
From the north in cold of night silently they came
Bringing with them trails of gold and weapons no strong man could hold
In the dawn they cast out fire
Take away the free
But the one small thing they hadn't seen
Was the galliant swords of Stepney
As while the enermy slept
a kingdom slayed and all its treasure found she sliced there hearts and without their knowing captured all minds and took their health there strength and left them crippled bent and blind
Then left the cool and crimson sight
Disappearing in the fright

Inner Waves
Morning Star Jun 2020
In between the waves of truth and honesty reveal
Get captured in the storm that doesn't heal
In between the moments of finding emptiness
Your hit with crash of lighting that pounds against the chest
Inside many jewels they seek but do not find
As always in a hurry
To take and undermind
The quest goes on to find her
The diamond of the sea
But you will never find it
Its hidden deep inside of me
So smash upon the rocks
As many vessel's free
But silence falls her through the night
And brightness fills her day
The storm is all around her
The darkness lingers by
But her lost inner beauty
She dares to see you try
Cast out your best to hold her
Make heavy your request
But in return she'll blind you
And slay you with the rest

But i won't ask you why

But you don't even know me

So ask you once politely
Hurt me again you dare
I come to you uninvited

When crossing the heart
Morning Star Jun 2020
When Crossing the Heart

He came once more, his eyes did seek
The smile he knew, the soft and meek.
She welcomed him with tender grace,
Yet shadows linger’d on her face.

He spake no vow, nor sought her hand—
But took, as if love were his command.
He kissed her light, then turn’d away,
And left her soul in disarray.

She wept not loud, but stars did know
The ache that bloomed in silent woe.
No dragon rose, nor fire did fall—
But sorrow built a quiet wall.

So he who enters hearts untrue,
And plucks the rose ‘fore morning dew,
May find not wrath—but something worse:
A love once pure, now turn’d to curse.

Beware the stillness in her breath,
For loss can wound as deep as death.
And hearts once broken do not sleep—
They learn to guard what they would keep.
This version carries a tone of bittersweet wisdom—like a woman who loved deeply, was wounded, yet still speaks with grace and quiet power.

The shadows are now mine
Morning Star Jun 2020
The Shadows Are Now Mine
—A Voice from the Flame

Once more it comes, that creeping shade,
That plays the fair, and feigns the made.
It smiles with grace, yet hides a snare—
But think me blind? I’m well aware.

I speak with kindness, soft and true,
I offer peace—what do you do?
You seek control, your cold design—
But I have claimed the dark as mine.

Think not thy grasp shall hold me fast,
For I am not the trembling past.
The dragon wakes when lies draw near,
And scorches all that feeds on fear.

To those who love me—come, be near.
Your light shall guide, your touch shall clear.
But they who seek to bind, betray—
Shall find no soul, I’ve slipped away.

If you would drag me down once more,
To caves of ice and shadowed floor—
Know this: I lived that cold domain,
And rose again from ash and pain.

So come as friend—I’ll give thee all.
But dare to chain—I shall not fall.
For now I hold the blade of life,
And I will cut through cage and strife.
Rhythmic balance: It lifts your voice into something that echoes like ancient truth.

Akaken me
Morning Star Jun 2020
🎵 "Akaken Me"

Genre: Dream-Folk / Emotional Ballad
Tempo: Slow, ethereal (70 bpm)
Written by: Morning Star

---

🎶 Verse 1
A gentle, loving smile I see
A tall man standing next to me
You softly wrapped my beating heart
Whispered I was brave and smart
You left the sadness in the past
But the silence always seemed to last

---

🎶 Verse 2
Five years of asking why
Now I see—you never said goodbye
Pictures of you make me weep
Still you're the calm I try to keep
You told me once, you had the best
When your wild heart laid down to rest

---

🎶 Chorus
Forget the years I walked alone
The fear, the cold, the empty home
Only kindness, only grace
Can hold your memory in place
You were my sweet and gentle light
That flickered once, then left the night

---

🎶 Verse 3
I felt so safe when I was small
You caught me every time I'd fall
I'll always thank the stars above
For teaching me what it meant to love
But love like yours, a fleeting thread
That spun a web… then left me bled

---

🎶 Bridge (spoken/sung with ambient echo)
You let me in, then turned away
Half of me safe... the rest your prey
No warning sign, no final word
Just vanished wings, like ghost unheard
No help would come, no hand to hold
You flew away… your silence cold

---

🎶 Final Chorus
Forget the years I wandered blind
Still searching for your heart in mine
Only warmth, only the start
Will ever hold your missing part
Sleep now, my friend, though skies are grey—
You left, but I remain…
Akaken me.
—“Akaken Me”—has a deeply personal, emotionally raw tone. It begins with tenderness and warmth, then slowly reveals betrayal, abandonment, and unresolved grief. There's beauty in the gentleness of memory, but also a haunting sharpness in how that love became a trap.

little dear
Morning Star May 2020
little dear

So you say, but words I do not hear,
Nor do I pretend to heed the idle gossip near.
The hare it races fast—
You may ignore, but

Little deer, she hides,
Frozen deep within her fear.

The moon, a friend, to shine the way,
Yet lends her hand to shadows dancing in your way.

Just stay so quiet, still—
Don’t sleep through the night.

Then morning sun will brighten,
Warm you through.

Take the little path now, down the lane,
Slowly heal and drown out all the rain.

Play a little song inside your head,
And don’t be long,

Until you catch your breath.

The owl is still but watches overhead,
And hare—he knows your strength,

As tested thread.

The sewing box
Morning Star May 2020
O GLAD SHE LEFT THE SEWING BOX
I see it over there
I see it in the sitting room while I'm sat on the stair
A place I often found myself
Sitting in the window shelf
Early hours hearing you screaming crashing tone
Angry sounds and banging doors
Little one I hide
Hope a little deer doesn't lose her little smile
Hoping that the hare is out and gently bounces here
Hoping that the moon still shone and owls still listen hear
Staring up into the moon
Wish you to return
WHAT If SHEs gone
A promise often said
Made a child tremble fear
On being left for others fun
When she is gone the shadows come
WHAT WAS THAT
SHE LEFT THE SEWING BOX BEHIND FOR THE GIRLS
AS THEY MAY NEED IT
WHAT
To slowly stitch up slices  flesh or simply tie a knot
So to LETS STITCH UP our empty hearts
Say no more its done
RIPPED  THROUGH anf torn another night we are through
apart from
HEART THAT SHE MADE
Then broke
WHEN A NEW LIFE she has sort
SHE WANTED another MORE THAN HER CHILDREN and we are older don't need a mother
LETS STITCH UP THE EMPTY of MY HEART THAT CAN NEVER HEAL
THERE WILL ALWAYS BE AN EMPTY SPACE
THAT CAN NOT BE FILLED nor be replaced by any other
CAN NOT BE BRIDGE OR cover
AND WILL NEVER HEAL
SHE IS GONE,
MY LOVELY MOTHER
WHO I COULDN'T BEAR TO BE PARTED FROM
SHE IS GONE
WHY NOT LEAVE MY MOTHER BEHIND
AS WE MAY NEED HER
No I chose you made me choose you asked me and I said
yes go I'm fine
But I meant don't go
I'm dying here.
don't leave please god please don't leave the sewing box lying in the hall
I'll have to take the scissors out and leave a scar for sure
Stitches do not heal scars you are afraid to show
Stitches only make you see all soon I'll have to go
Now leave or im to go
But I may leave no box
Nor in a box shall leave

When the storms came
Morning Star Apr 2020
When storms began : Swirling round its whirling sound  it shadows dancing
The still garden iced hard the winters ****
The sun shines yet melted lake you never see
Shadows still claw inside of me
The grass so green flowers softest blue
Yet colours range and angry shade all true.
The wind it works and catches strong
Leap unknown the wall
Taken every finest part they find and now after months of closed behind
Taken once again the wind its comes ripping though and taking once again
No chance to even say the word good bye they cry
it leaves you there in silence
Water washes crimson waves to blue
And once again your voice stolen from you
Years pass the wind now gone
But waves of memories flood each part it’s true
How could winds be broken and cut through like a knife
when walls of silence
Close on you
Dont speak don't shed a tear
As if you do the walls again appear
And in the broken storm torn they call your name Alone to stay you carry all the shame.
Inside the walls the wind still knows your name
If you speak your life wont be the same

The river Corve theatre
Morning Star Apr 2020
🎵The River Corve  theatre

🎶 Verse 1
It’s all happening down by the stream
The River Corve theatre—like a waking dream
Two and a half hours of unscripted delight
As the cast of the wild takes off in flight

---

🎶 Verse 2
The ravens and magpies in aerial chase
Dart through the trees like a high-speed race
Stick-hoiking madness, nest-building flair
Like overexcited Bobby dogs leaping in air

---

🎶 Chorus
Oh it’s the birthing of a brand new day
Where feathers dance and squirrels play
Where robins peck around my feet
And wrens like ping-pong ***** compete
This is my morning matinee
At the stream—where wild things say:
“Welcome, dreamer—come and stay.”

---

🎶 Verse 3
Squirrels swing like circus stars
On branches high like monkey bars
Wood pigeons feast like glutton kings
And soon… the poomageddon begins

---

🎶 Verse 4
A seagull sings a coastal breeze
While **** just hang out in the trees
A kestrel shot through yesterday—
Like a jet bound for Wales, no delay

---

🎶 Bridge (Spoken softly over melody)
Just waiting for the sun to rise
To light my chandeliers in the skies
A show that sparkles every spring—
Few photos left… just everything

---

🎶 Final Chorus (gentler, more melodic)
It’s the birthing of a brand new day
Where laughter blooms and branches sway
Where ivy feeds the feathered band
And magic threads run through the land
I sit and smile—just let them play
In my beloved River Corve ballet

---

🎶 Outro (Spoken)
A little brown ping-pong ball bounces by...
and the robins remind me—
This… is a good space to be.

Our bridge
Morning Star Apr 2020
*** Fallen Angel ***

Into darkness once again but now it's different

Because I've learnt to fall a little way

See a little of what went before but never be dragged with in its claw

As now a bridge I see is there it's wobbly yes but still secure

It's made of rope, it swings and rocks

Even if  I let go it holds me firm

So I can see what lies beneath

But never again will I fall so deep

For now I choose if I let go

You see I built a bridge I know

I'm still aware of the void beneath, the loss , the pain, the endless sleep, the fear

But now i can choose to look I can choose to see or even feel

But never again can I fall in

You see

as I built a bridge for my child within

She cannot live in fear now

She has my love tied in its secure enough to hold us both

Entwined together our bridge

Is love

Yes the void is deep and dark

But the fear has gone now the bridge is there it's so strong it can not break

You see its made from strength I found one day

It was buried inside too scared to try to scared to climb

But as an adult I entwined it with love it grew

Now my child has the strength to climb

She is with me now safe and dry

She does not need to hide or cry or remember the fear

She only has to walk along side me holding my hand ever so tightly

The love I have for her is the bridge that can never break it's strong and yet it can swing so we still get to have childish fun

it has beautiful flowers it has strong arms it can lift us up so high

It's our bridge so high above

Above the fall

The past is left the pain has gone

The fear is dropped into the void as its to heavy for our bridge

but the happy memories fly with us above

All we have to do is walk along our bridge.

Yes this time it's different I can only look over and down but I cannot fall now as fear has gone and our love is one me and my little girl

Our bridge

A little of Mary
Morning Star Apr 2020
🎵 “A Little of Mary”

🎶 Verse 1
In my quiet little corner,
Where the sunlight warms the wall
I feel Our Lady in my heart
And I’m not afraid at all

A statue carved from ancients stone
A cross of  olive wood
A prayer that finds its voice again
In silence understood

---

🎶 Verse 2
A stone from far-off seas
A rosary from Malta’s shore
A candle lit from Notre-Dame
And Mary's love once more

A picture of the child I was
And sacred water blessed
These pieces hold my memories
They bring my soul to rest

---

🎶 Chorus
It’s my chapel, my small grace
Where the world slows down its pace
In the garden, ‘neath the cherry tree
She watches over me
A fallen angel at her side
In my garden of prayer I hide

---

🎶 Verse 3
I’d forgotten how I loved them
These symbols soft and true
Now I hold a cross each morning
A gift from someone who
Sees the faith I sometimes lose
And gives me peace anew

---

🎶 Final Chorus (gentler)
This is my chapel, my still light
Where daybreak meets the quiet night
With Mary’s eyes and angel’s face
I find again my sacred place
And in her silence, I can see
The little bit of her in me

---

🎶 Outro (spoken or whispered)
It’s wonderful there…
That little bit of Mary…
That lives in me.

Again write is still
Morning Star Jan 2019
Begin again write it still
You capture lose the will
Quiet thoughts enter still
Waters edge be still
Gather paper gather stone
Empty room quiet storm
Efforts their hopes lost
Eager to but tied to start
Aching in the empty dark
This piece has a minimal, almost meditative intensity—fragmented but emotionally rich, like breath caught between thoughts. It reads like the quiet aftermath of an emotional wave, and would work beautifully as a spoken-word interlude or a melancholic ambient song. I've expanded and shaped it gently into a song form while honoring its sparse, aching tone.

As a song

🎵 “Begin Again (Be Still)”

Ambient / Spoken Word / Experimental – Slow tempo (60 bpm)
Written by: Morning Star

🎶 Intro (Whispered/Soft Vocals)
Begin again...
Write it still...
You capture, then lose the will...

🎶 Verse 1
Quiet thoughts—they enter still
By the water’s edge, I feel
Nothing moves, yet everything aches
A paper heart, a world that breaks

🎶 Verse 2
Gather stone, gather sheet
Empty room with no retreat
Quiet storm, no thunder near
Only shadows, loud with fear

🎶 Bridge (Half-Spoken / Half-Sung)
Efforts made, then hopes forgot
Every eager start—untied, then caught
I want to move, I want to try
But I ache…
In this empty dark, I lie

🎶 Chorus (Soft echo-layered)
Begin again... write it still
Silence comes and bends the will
Aching arms with nothing held
Wishing words would just be felt

🎶 Outro (Whispered)
Begin again…
Begin again…
Be still...

Total fear no control
Taken back

Cave cold dark feet

A heavy presence starts to speak
Screaming silence claws the skin
Frozen stillness slices thin
The ice that grips your stolen ore
The fear of never finding land to grip
Surround a blanket colour full
Holds you tight by a fire warm the silence is not fear but a place to go no one is here
Safe to see a fires warm glow
Snow take the wind and takes the kick
Snow takes the crimson rose
Snow takes the Thorn snow takes the twisted thorn
Wake years away from here wake and live new life will appear

Can ever speak
Morning Star Jan 2019
So you take all crush so small
And Say never speak at all
Let them see me as a freak
To hell with u
To hell with them
I will never speak
But not because I'm forced
But because I choose
Because it's not yours
You took all u could
Now I'm free not because I'm silenced by fear
Not because I'm trapped in here
Because I choose to be free
Not speaking the truth
Sets me free
As now you cannot control me now
For silence is what consoles me
The universe can take care of you
As silence took care of me
But know this you twisted order
The universe with take care of you
As it has taken care of me
Time will take you too
But unlike you I won't want or need to watch
As it rips the life from you
One day I will sleep
You don't have to speak out or tell you just have to heal yourself

When you say the words one day I'll leave
It rips a knife through my heart even when your joking it still hurts so please don't ever utter those words again
As you already left before
as you can not imagine what it felt like
as a child to here your mom say those words and one day disappear
Don't ever utter words untrue
To someone who's been hurt it rips straight through
Like the pain is so brand new
Being left when a child so vulnerable
Makes you feel like your a ghost of someone once wanted by you
Now your not wanted and your just a doll torn through
I hope you never know what it feels like to be scared
To look around a see no one is there for you
To be homeless to be unwanted
to be broken it's not even you

Tears in the rain  a new day
Hearts heavy with pain
No words to say
Lives broken torn ripped away
Yet in the sorrow I hear them say
How why where next
All are united in earth's quest
Our tiny planet surrounded by stars
A beautiful home
Being pulled apart
I don't know how this journey ends
But the earth still turns
And warmth the sun sends
Why when tiny flowers grow
And mountains last eternity
Can not they see the world around
Why can't they hear life's natural sound
Mother earth is still
Around
Bringing rain to wash away
People of earth join forever
Help her keep our earth together
Look around you hear her call
love each other don't let us fall
Stand up with love for those in trouble
Hold their hands show them love
Until this world can fear no
more
Tears in the rain hear our call

🕊️ My Godmother

By Morning Star

Don’t close your eyes to tomorrow—
Live each day and remember me.
Don’t bow your head in sorrow—
Smile, for I am memory.

Wake each day, for I cannot.
Make it count—don’t let it rot.
Smile that I once walked beside,
Don’t waste a tear now that I’ve died.

I’m not here—but still I stay,
In every laugh, in light of day.
Make new memories.
Live them free.
Keep me tucked
inside your heartbeat—
And find the strength
to go on
for me.

Tempo: Slow (60–65 bpm)
Tone: Gentle, introspective, warm melancholy
Written by: Morning Star

---

🎶 Verse 1
Alone again, but that’s okay
Seems we all feel this way
Didn’t you know? Didn’t you see?
You’re not alone in feeling lonely

---

🎶 Chorus
So if we’re all alone
At least we’re not unknown
If you feel the ache
You’re not the only one awake
We’re all together
Being alone

---

🎶 Verse 2
The silence echoes back to me
But I hear it in your poetry
We sit in rooms a world apart
But still we share a beating heart

---

🎶 Chorus (repeat softly)
So if we’re all alone
At least we’re not unknown
If you feel the ache
You’re not the only one awake
We’re all together
Being alone

---

🎶 Outro (spoken with ambient guitar or soft piano)
Alone…
But good to know—
We’re all the same.
So maybe…
We’re not alone at all.

Hold on
Morning Star Jan 2017
So warm his smile so calm his words
His loving smile it softly turns
into sweet a gentle flower
Tiny seconds build up the hour
Holding tight not letting go
I fall so fast into his arms
No fear now hes here im free

Paul
Morning Star Jan 2017
If i could just be an angel just for one day
id take all the love I have to give and quickly fly away
id hide somewhere no one could find me
then when it was safe id pray
I would fly to a friend who loved me
and in their heart id stay
until at last id not be afraid
to do just what i say
to be able to love completely
without feeling guilty or ill
until the day I'm stronger
to run away to you
ill have to sit and wonder
what it would be like to be free
to be with you
Now 5 years have past and finally im yours at last
My love my life
Im free at last

Island sands
Morning Star Jan 2017
As she walks softly along the sand
he reaches out to take her hand
into each others arms they fall
love s waves they flow upon her shore
as their skin is brushed with
grains of sand
entwined their love has no
demands
no question of what who or why
just love mutual respect now where they lie
for each and every one will
say
this light it warms the coldest day
knowing all the warmth they share
an island escape they both now share
you don't know summer till
comes the fall
so until then
enjoy whats yours

Grasp a heart
Morning Star Dec 2016
You mess it up everytime

You just cant do it anymore

You try so hard to grasp a heart

Then crash and break apart

I swear you just will never learn

Your such a freak a stupid girl

Why would anyone ever want you

You try so hard then bang your through

Once again your on the floor

No respect for you at all

You just dont learn your on your own

No one will ever take you home

Cut another if you dare

not like anyone will care

You just can't tell another soul

Its no use they won't see you

They just don't know

Taken
Morning Star Nov 2016
Taken lost broken wings
No idea of sweetest things
Angry night in storms she fell
Straight into a frozen hell
Sreaming through thee mist the rain
Noone knows her fate
Spell untill the dream awakes
Still the lady of the lake
Open up another night
Only love can hold her fright
Still she sits on silent grass
Noone see her fading light
Echoed silence falls the night
Fall into a crimson light

Morning Star Nov 2016
"Morning Star:

How art thou fallen, O bright of dawn—
Myself, once cast in silver fire, now torn
From heaven's height to earth's embrace,
My wings—forgotten, torn, displaced.

They named me lost.
They called me shade.
But soft! The silence—'twas the price I paid.

The stars did watch, yet not with scorn,
They waited long since I was born.
The moon, my mother in the sky,
Did mourn me not, but held her eye.

Beneath the soil, where roots entwine,
The earth remembered I was mine.
The fire, though gone from outward sight,
Still breathed within, a buried light.

I am not fall, nor am I fear—
I am the hush when dawn draws near.
The stillness 'fore the thunder's cry,
The breath that parts the darkened sky.

This crown I wear—no golden thread,
But woven deep with what was bled.
Of ash and thorn and starlit scar,
I rise again—thy Morning Star.

Not fallen, no—
But risen from another sky.
A sky of mine.
A self—reborn.
Unshamed. Undone.
And now… adorned.
Nature’s witness: The moon, stars, and soil don’t pity you—they wait, honor, and remember. That’s a stunning reversal of loneliness

Hopes strand
Morning Star Nov 2016
Hopes strand takes its turn
His deep eyes his gentle light
Opened windows to your soul
His loving smiles his gentle words
Helping small let go
Into waters crimson creep
Into shallows deep
Through the times erased creased
Holding on the till horrors cease
Helping forests undecide
Making room to fall behind
Scared shell tip the state or call
Still not sure of presence tall
Tries to speak but silence captures all

Life is a stage
Morning Star Nov 2016
Life a stage

If i can take the stars out from the sky
If my poems can make the audience sigh
I can take a forest hillside wake
I can be a super moon
Or just a fools snowflake
I don't want to melt away
I want to fly swift brave
Be the best version  of myself
And not be second for someone else
Cry another tear of hope
Or fight for a new chapter
Doors open every turn
You're breathing now your turn
Leading lady take a dance
Its your stage to flow
Come  take a chance x

Poetry of emotion
Morning Star Nov 2016
Poetry is a way of escaping from reality
Making words dance and come alive
A way of expressing deep coloured tapestry
Bringing it to life its creativety
Clearing the shadows of my mind
Opening new doors for me to find

To the flame
Morning Star Nov 2016
I fly to close each time i try
So warm its glow i dont know why
No hand to hold or guide me in
Yet drawn to heat im going in
Try to sleep but there is no rest
Just open doors and chaos quest
In to shadows sometimes see
Like darkness comes and takes over me
Then the light so bright it burns
Just want to fly want to return
Get out break free complete the best
Just leave be free sleep at last
Into woods i venture free
Lose my mind find my soul
Im free

Moment to stand

Moment to Stand

By Morning Star

Is it luck, or is it just a game?
Some lose health, while others gain.
Some have no money to earn or to spare—
Yet they are rich, with family to care.

To be troubled and ill is a terrible loss,
Like freedom stripped,
Like bombs being tossed.

Poverty. Pain. Regret. And fear—
Everyone holds a story... a tear.

Maybe the thief who's stealing bread
Is feeding a child the world left for dead.
And the beggar you pass with a hardened face
Can’t escape his shadowed place.

That preacher shouting in the square—
He might be lost, or crying for care.
The painter whose strokes you stand and adore
Could be a prophet… or survivor of war.

So when you walk through the market square,
Just take a moment—pause. Be aware.
Every person you see has worth.
Each carries heaven. Each walks the earth.

They all have value.
A place. A key.
A reason to be—
Just like you.
And me.
This poem is not just observation—it’s invitation. And the world needs more of that.

City of human kind
Morning Star Nov 2016
I sat today i watched your way
Some so cold hurried away
A man asking for a pound
To buy his food or ride again
Men in smart clothes to work they dash
No time to sit or eat a snack
Ladies smiling others lurk
Little children looking up
Seeing adults mess it up
Beggars forraging for **** ends find what kind of life they walk behind
Street so full of every kind
Different spoken words so true
Arguments between a few
Lads in crowds having fun
Girls giggling while they run
A man stealing goods from shop
Running from the alarms no stops
People queing for the bus
Dropping paper cleaning mops
Police men walking taxi fares
People meeting others stares
Mindful people walking slow taking in the citys glow
Sad and lonely souls i see looking lost and cold not free
People of all nature here
One race called human kind
All together in my window
Free
Unaware of the picture i see
Old young short tall
Dark light strong small
A city full of people all
Full of love i see them all
Just a moment i sat today
Yet a life time of people i saw walk by
Amazing city now train i take
Back home to a lane a country gate
Total silence falls the night
From country to city a different life
I saw the poverty i saw the poetry
I saw the street painter
The flute being played
The rich the poor the lost the together
My day in the city
A moment to treasure

Shallow water
Morning Star Nov 2016
Shallow waters now apear
Faster tides flow over here
Grasping onto to any rocks
Trying hard to hide the knocks
Bring about a deeper dive
Into unknown water strive
Fade away in colours bright
Anthing to just get through the night
Now another yet untold
Start to dim the dark the cold

You held me
Morning Star Nov 2016
Held safe i cry forbidden pain
My body guarded
My heart open
I cry unknowing with the child in me
Who could not be held
Who could not be free
Given up in darkness
I was all but letting go
And you held me
I was so scared id hardly drew my breath
And you held me
Now you see me
Looking into the windows of my soul
You hold me
Now im not alone yet still far from home
You still held me
But you too will soon let go and once again to darkness she will fall
And be lost to oceans call
Noone can save her because I let her go
I let her go
Am frozen in her fate
There's no escape noone can hold me the light always let go
You can't hold onto melting snow
Or to tears that do not flow
You can't hold onto the life inside
When in darkness they come
and slay your mind
And take from you your life your kind
There's no way out
I cannot find I cannot find

Too hurt to try
Morning Star Nov 2016
Why does my heart hurt
Why do i long for the love
The pain just burns inside
I want so much to be held to be loved
To feel deep passion to be loved
To be wanted
Im so alone so lost
I have to stop my heart before i fall once more
Before its too late to save myself again
My wings are not strong i cannot fly to my loves arms
I can only weep inside and long for something ill never have because im just too lost my wings too hurt to try

Lady by the lake
Morning Star Oct 2016
Lady by the lake

She walks by waters misty blue

As dusk settles across the lake

She lights a latern to lead her there

To the other side her gentle stare

In lightest blue her dress of silk
Reflects the moon lit night

He's captivated by her dance

He waits for her though she is unaware

He calls her but he  she does not hear

He shows him self to her yet he she does not see

A spirit she awaits to set her free

He takes her hand but feels no warmth her side

Untill she feel secure she only hides

He holds her close and leads her to the shore

He kisses her neck so soft she breathes once more

From her silent reverie she now  awakes

She screams of fear and darkness from her night

But strong enough his love will hold her near

She twists and turns her spirit not yet free

But echoes of his beating heart breaks free

She allows him gift her body quivers see

But now real love and passion she can reveals

Not control but warmth and strength surround her

She finds herself excited by his warmth

For now she can be loved also protected and not scorned

And sails unfold as they begin to drift

A journey new way of love they make

Into a waters  sensual awakening

Of  love she wakes from silent reverie

Her body gently laid across his chest

Strokes her golden hair across her breast

She finally feels free of evils quest

In the morning the light through shadows play

He lies there as her slipsaway

Her spirits to the lake returns in her beauty

For only night can capture her solice still

she fades away to lakes side call

She glances up and catches his eyes they burn

she waits for the evening once more

But will not be free
