They don't want to wait for Christmas
They want their Christmas stuff now
Sneaking from room to room
looking everywhere.
Maybe a gift in the cookie jar or one not that far.
They want their Christmas stuff.
A baby doll for little Polly or a truck for good old buck.
They don't want to wait for Christmas day.
The tree hasn't a thing under it.
And Christmas eve is coming fast.
No ***** or bells on the tree.
The lights are out but on the floor.
Grandpa has a headache from trying to find the Christmas goose. If
they don't want to wait mom says they won't get!!

As I walked the path near the lake
I could see the ripples in the water.
The lake was quiet this time of year.
No boats no swimmers in the water.
The birds are flying above the water to catch the fish below.
The trees are bare of leaves.
The flowers are gone.
The lake is real pleasant to visit

What does Santa do after Christmas day.
does he go back to work making toys again
Does he go shopping at Walmart?
does he take a vacation.
maybe to the Texas to a football game
or does he set at home watching the game on tv.
We never will know because he doesn't say.
for he wants to be left alone

Santa was ready to go
on his Christmas eve trip.
to England and the to turkey
the US then all the rest.
but This Year Santa made a mess.
He took of before the sled wasn't complete full
there is no chop sticks for Wong.
no Swiss made clock for Hilda,
Santa messed up
He traveled The world and didn't know it.
he messed up so much he forgot you and me!

The Christmas season is here upon us.
Looking over the trees as we travel down the mountain.
Looking at house tops covered in snow
Looking at the lights on each house for the Christmas holidays.
The roads are covered with Christmas snow white as it could be.
The sky is dark with the clouds that hold the snow.
As we enter the small towns you see the lights on the poles.
A star here a snowflake a Santa what a site.
The storefronts each have a tree of diff. color

no big *****, no lil *****,
no basketballs, no football,
no pool ***** no beach ball
They have lost their *****.

the new years is fast up on us.
everyone is buying Christmas things.
and buying the ***** for new year..
all but grandpa,
head headed to his still in the woods about a week ago.
moonshine was on his mine.
the gin in the old bath tub was gone weeks ago,
so he fired up the old still for this new year treat.
moonshine and gin that is grandpa's best treat,
bring in the holiday season with a bang.
people come from miles around just to get grandpa's gin
