The snow is gone
the new year has begun
Spring is in the air.
birds are sing.
Dogs are chasing cats.
the trees have buds that are growing.
people are camping in the woods.
fires to keep them warm you can smell.

Little Girl's ride
The sun shines through the window.
A sudden move wakens the little girl.
she jumps up and ready to go.
pushing your legs as she heads to the door.
She runs to see if the light is on.
To the door we go. Happy as could be.
Outside for a quick bathroom call.
then to the car she runs in a flash.
barking if your not there yet.
in the door she jumps.
to her pillow between the seats.
ready for her ride.
