You look up,
It's the ceiling,
What's beneath it
Is what's worth believing
A broken door,
Fallen strand of hair
A small piece of paper
Behind the chair,
His mind works
At the speed of light
Not missing a thing,
That's ever been in his sight.
The smell of wonder
Lingers around,
His friends stay perplexed
At every small sound.
A voice that makes you shiver,
The cloak that makes you swoon
Is what makes Sherlock
Every criminals boon.

Surrounded by the forest,
shrubs and leaves,
Trees whispering to each other
The night was what it needs,
chilly,spine tickling wind
An aura of beyond,
A thought in my head
about the mystery around.
The fire glows brightly,
our hands warm and red,
It dances in all its glory,
to scare away the dead.
People are singing,
the song of the night,
the spirits are lingering
with the moon out of sight.
As my ears move away
from the sound,
the singing goes, quiet grows
My eyes look away
from the fire
The chilly night freezes my breath,
they move, quickly in stealth.
In the glow of the fire,
they know they must go
In the candesence of flames,
their story melts, you'll never know.

As I look up to the sky,
I wonder why
Something seems wrong,
the World drags along
with blasts and terror,
a look of horror
upon the face of the sky,
which looks down and cries,
Where is the peace?
Will this madness cease?
As days go by,
I long for the time
to call this world-Paradise.

Along the path,
he tread on
Tall, thick trees
blocked the light of the sun.
Its narrow and long,
he knew something was wrong
A whisper in the bushes,
a thorn on the ground,
his guilt poked him,
he quickly turned around.
Nothing lay behind
except the cloth bundle,
inside lay the body
of the women he had strangled.
He struggled to pull the body,
became heavier by the second
the soul inside
would have him beckon.
Anger made the trees sway,
the air became damp
his mind infused with chaos
of ways to get out of this swamp.
His men were waiting
for the price he would bring
but he was trapped in this maze
in his praise they would sing.
The ground below
shook with terror
his legs gave away
there was no shelter,
from the trees,
whispers became louder,
wolves began to howl
his reason for joy
was lurking on the prowl.
The soul within
had joined forces with nature
his mad heart
beat like a strange creature
He needed to get out
but he lay deep in the trap
His guilt held him
from escaping through the gap.

Today, the world begins

with money, power and fame

to name a few of man's sins.

A world where there's glory

in defeat of another,

no heroes in this story,

only thoughts that will bother.

Nations lay scattered,

with ideas galore

Unity never mattered

as weapons do more.

A miniscule part

of the 7 billion on Earth

have surrendered to peace

a life of sweet mirth

Their ideas are woven

around their family and friends

to provide for their own

to bring simple happiness.

Where is the balance

for the greed and need

how do we decide

which path is to succeed?

Protests and news

developments in technology,

a plethora of new views

leaves me in a bed of perplexity.

A world with no pain

a sea of merry souls

will it be of any gain

to our insatiabe goals?
