Inside a labyrinth, a child wanders
The mental walls around him whisper "safe"
For as he walks he sees only roses
He can even feel their sweet aroma caress his skin
But beneath the touch of illusion
A young boy is walking in a labyrinth of bones
While the smell of rotting flesh suffocates him
But the child soldiers on, happier in his illusion
Because the entrance is long gone
And as he skips into the mouth of a beast
He only laughs merrily
Because as the monster consumes him
All he feels is the tickling of petals
Falling onto his skin
