Drop by drop coming from high above,
At first you gave joy and only joy,
But now it's been days and you are like a curse.

Bucket to bucket throwing away  water from their home,
No any warm bed to tuck in tonight,
Displaced from their own home,
Nowhere to go,
Flooded cities, flooded town,
Searching for shelters now.

Continuous downpours from clouds above,
Resulting downpours from innocent eyes,
Downpours of tears due to loss.

With festive season knocking at the door ,
People investing with lots of hope in their eyes,
Storm swept away thousands of dream.

O rain yesterday you were boon to us.
Now it's high time to pray.
Only ray of hope for you to go away.
O dear Rain go way.. go away
Dedicated to flood and landslide that occurred in Nepal in 28th September, 2024 due to heavy downpours.

Today would be a world with flying cars is what we imagined yesterday,
A world where we could teleport anywhere,
Gathering of people talking about the future of the earth,
Each sharing their imagination how the future would be after twenty long years,
Those were the days when a room full of people would laugh, share and enjoy together,
Today is still the same, the room full of people are still laughing and enjoying together but still far away from each other,
Insta, snap, facebook and reels are the new friends,
Virtuality is the new reality,
Thousands of friends in insta, snap and facebook,
But not a single one in reality,
Everyone hiding their anxiety and depression, with still sadness inside but, uploading stories with happy faces outside,
No one ever imagined virtual world would displace our real world,
Being together seems together, but our veins are attached with virtuality, the new reality.
People have time for reels and stories, time to scroll and scroll,
But still too busy to open that message a friend sent day before yesterday,
Today virtuality is the new reality,
People living reality with virtuality
