AS I SIT HERE I BEGIN TO THINK WHAT DOES GOD HAVE FOR ME
I LIVE IN THE PRESENT AND THINK OF THE FUTURE, BUT NEVER FORGET THE PAST.
I WANT THE FUTURE TO BE WHAT I EXPECT AND MORE
I WANT MYSELF TO BE ABLE TO OPEN EVERY DOOR.
LEARNING IS PART OF THE PROCESS AND MISTAKES ARE PART OF THE JOB.
AS A HUMAN BEING I AM HOPEFUL AND I HAVE AN AMBITION
SO AGAIN I ASK MYSELF WHAT DOES GOD HAVE IN STORE FOR ME AND WILL IT BE A DOOR THAT IS WORTH OPENING.

Im not at ease and I can't help it
the thought keeps replaying in my head like a broken record
forgetting is not the easiest thing to do and might not be the best either
i don't want to breakdown i don't want to be weak
it happens to everyone, and we all survive it
i will be strong and i wont give up, i will stand up
it was too intense, but i chose to ride a long
now all i have to do is move on.

It is what it is.
the damage is done
the guilt is seeping in now
and there is no way out
all i can do now
is breath and take it all in
live with it, but not say a word
because one word can make or break a sentence

every time i close my eyes its a montage of us. every event thats happened comes to my head. every moment is in my memory, every emotion is in my heart. I want to vanish it all away but then id be loosing all i have of you

im here in this bed and youre on my mind

I don't want to repeat the past, Im living in the present.
but i can't help the fact that my emotions are coming in between.
I have someone already, but another comes along.
Will i ever be able to just stay in one spot or am i going to want
to move all over the place again. i learned my lesson once so please don't make the same mistake again. One has me, another one wants me. I have one but i could have the other. I can get hurt by both or can i ? i wanna choose well i already have but i still feel like i should change my mind..

I look in the mirror and see the face I wake up to every morning.
I see the face that others see, but the girl that others don’t.
Some may think that girl is intolerable, and out-spoken.
Others may think she is kind, opinionated, and witty.
We all have a perception of others in our own minds.
They say “Don’t judge a book by it’s covers.”
I am a book that is waiting to be opened and discovered.

I hear good things and bad things.
She is annoying, she is stupid.
She is chill, she is pretty.
Rumors are the worst, but you learn to ignore.
Some say I am promiscuous, some say I am the opposite.

They see a light eyed, brown haired girl.
Curvy body and appealing features.
Laughing all the time and always smiling is who I am.
I am down to earth and very understandable.
Problems and drawbacks are the last thing in my list.
I try to be nice, and I try to be me.

A box of broken pieces. its a puzzle. a puzzle of my heart, my broken heart. put them all together watch it come to life. It all fits perfectly but its missing one piece, that piece is you.

From the Lady Liberty to El Capitolio
Comes the Pichardo and the Salas that lie above me.
Where the dirt isn’t always brown to where the streets aren’t always bound.
When a good time is always easily found with a bottle of *** and a good dominoes round. I am from the land of the gossipers where talking is everyones favorite past time that the last thing you can be is a mime.

I am from jumping rope and playing cards, to watching tv and driving cars.
Where no matter rain or shine no one is ever left behind.
To where 90 miles away is not as far, but for others its more then three days.

From shopping and movies to parties and buoys.
Bipolar weather and fresh trees to hot days and cold waves.
Where the feeling of sand in your toes is the best to where the football games always have a bet. Where hanging with your friends is the best reward because no matter what you can never be bored.

I am scared.

I am scared of being lied to.

I am scared of being deceived.

Should I be scared? Is it true?

I’ve been in that spot before, It is not easy.

I am scared of being right, but I am scared of being wrong.

Should I listen? Should I shut it out.

Do I have trust? Or Do I think I do.

I am scared.

I'm here, with all sincerity and honesty. No betrayal, no harm.
