Stop and take a look today at life, and what it's for

Convey what you perceive every day

into something not even you can portray,

but that gives ambiance to yours and others dismay

Project your eclipsed power in such a way

it billows the people to go into fray

for what we all know is right

Inveigh your mind right at your stance

Nothing is in your way

Not even they

You can make a difference

for every today

The way you're smile lit up
and how it changed my world
and how every time you spoke
it'd make my hairlocks curl

And the way you used to sing to me
and how it'd make me laugh so easily

And when you'd wrap your arms
around my waist
and you'd sneak a little kiss
oh, i miss that taste

And all the memories we made those days
not a single little moment will fade away

Cause i miss you
and i hope you miss me
how it all used to be
cause i still love you

and..

The way you'd talk so fast
and how i understood
and how every time we ate
i'd try to look real good

And the way you used to stare at me
and how it'd make me feel so beautifully

And when you'd rub your face
up against mine
and you'd take me straight to space
and we'd forget the time

And all the memories we made those days
not a single little moment will fade away

Cause i miss you
and i hope you miss me
how it all used to be
cause i still love you

and..

The way it hurt so bad
when you said goodbye
and how every time you'd call
i couldn't help but cry

And the way you'd say you still loved me
and how it'd make me cry more constantly

And when you'd call me to apologize
and you'd say your little sorrys
i just said my byes

And all the memories we made those days
not a single little moment will fade away

Cause i still love you

Repeat after me
after me there will be more
be more people, buildings, presidents
presidents who'll only bring war
war that will never bring peace
peace that we've seen before
before when we thought that there would be no more
no more worries, suffering, dying
dying faith and dying hope
hope that one day we'd initiate change
change that each one of them swore
swore that from now there will be more
more money, more safety, just wait
we wait for these miracles to wash up ashore
sure, in God we trust everything they say
that as one our country will be able to sore
sore past all of their mistakes
Yes, I do believe one day
There will be no more

Friendly herbs we light on fire
Breathe it in with our desire
To fulfill our every wish
Take one more hit
Your mind gets higher

Like the smoke as it keeps rising
In the air and unsurprisingly
It starts to disappear
Take one more hit
Nothing to fear

For all your friends stand right beside you
Every word they say confides your every thought
And now you’re mindless
Take one more hit
You’re filled with kindness

Everything just makes you happy
No explaining but your laughing
All the time for little things
You pop this pill
You want to sing

You own the world with every step
You feel alive with every breathe
Your body’s light you feel no stress
Take one more hit
You’re like a jet

The sky the clouds are moving fast
You think of now and not the past
You hope this feeling continues to last
So you take one more hit
And now you cast

Cast away from all your worries
They say one thing you’re in a hurry
To do it all that which you please
Take one more hit
It’s all a tease

Now you’re back to everyday
You wish it never went away
You try to eat, but it tastes plain
Take one more hit
It helps some way

What’s this? Again, another pill?
You take it in moments at your will
You anxiously wait, you get the chills
Take one more hit
You feel the thrill

Your body shakes you can’t stand still
You’ll talk for hours right until
Your tangent minds forgets to think
Take one more hit
Your eyes don’t blink

The light’s they trail from here to there
The colors combine and stick to the air
Your eyes roll back but you fight to stare
Take one more hit
Your nostrils flare

Then tomorrow comes you try to eat
But something’s wrong you body’s weak
Your head just throbs in so much pain
Take one more hit
You feel more sane

It soothes your brain, relaxes your mind
And you sit there and wonder how people are blind
To the good things it brings, it just grows from the ground
So you take one more hit
And start looking around

Your eyes are blood shot and you stare at one thing
You’re so high to the point you don’t hear your phone ring
When your friend shows up, you have one more stop
He says stick out your tongue
You feel two little drops

Now all of the lights are reflecting your skin
You can feel them vibrating from within
With inside your mind, within your soul
Take one more hit
Now you’re thoughts take a stroll

Your cheeks they hurt from a permanent smile
And your eyes will be huge for more than a while
You get up and leave cause your walls start to breathe
So you take one more hit
What should you believe?

You try to look up at the sky
But then the stars fall in your eyes
They dilate straight into your mind
Take one more hit
Time passes by

So many things are left to do
Countless knowledge you never knew
You have the world for your dreams to pursue
So you take one more hit
But then who are you?

Nothing's how it was before
You’re on your knees, you grab the floor
“This world is ****, can’t take no more!”
Your mind is lost what is this for?

Your precious life it makes no sense
You wonder if it’s all pretense
So many thoughts it’s too intense
Take one more hit
Now your aura’s immense

You feel your body levitate
You think and now appreciate
The little things that we create
Take one more hit
Now you start to debate

So you lay your body on the floor
And you close your eyes to see no more
But behind your lids are colors and shapes
You take one more hit
Still there’s no escape

You open your eyes and what do you see?
A road to a world in which you can lead
A new life, a new purpose without all this ****
Now you know what to do
So you take one last hit
As you walk down that road and say

“My knowledge is me, and my life’s what I do with it”

Open your eyes
Can't you see?
How the rain is pouring
and the winds are blowing
How the sun is shining
and the rivers are flowing
How the birds are chirping
and the leaves are falling
How the waves are surfing
and the flowers are blooming
Can't you see?
How the people are dying
and the kids are starving
How the families keep crying
and the children always praying
How the mothers keep suffering as
their sons keep falling to the ground
where they're crawling
Can't you see?
How in countries, they're always talking
of how diseases keep on spreading
But there's no cure, so they stay dying
cause our country keeps on buying
pointless ****, but Obama's trying
really hard to not be lying
For all the promises he keeps making
of how the world will soon be changing
Can't you see?
Open your eyes
See how the guns stay shooting
and their bullets always piercing
innocent people, hear them screaming
for their lives to keep on living
All for peace, and we keep saying
how very soon it'll be ending
without even caring of all the people
we keep hurting
Can't you see?
How all this time we keep on hiding
under fear and try ignoring
all the things in our surroundings
Even trees that we keep cutting down
for paper to be writing
even though they're there for breathing
Can't you see?
How all the creatures that are walking
on the roads that we've created
So the cars can start polluting
all the air that we're inhaling
And we just stay in our rooms praying
to a God who keeps on claiming
he'll be back to earth for saving
all the people who stay sinning
Can't you see?
See the seeds we plant for growing
like our minds will soon be knowing
all these things aren't here for showing
We are here for our own living
Start it now with love and giving

Have you opened your eyes yet?

The only things in life

that make us feel

any bit more important

than something as real

as the blazing sun

or a gamblers deal

versus a priests ability

of sins he can heal

are in reality

*imaginary

you must see through THE telescope of dimensions
that awoke every INCIDENT spent saying you won't cause you cant,
but look further, THAT's hope past the terrors
there dangling, a rope that LEADS you to an antidote
for erasing your fears sealed inside your MINDS
HIDDEN envelopes, each one with a secret note
for you to uncover FROM your kaleidoscope of thoughts
spinning out like clouds of smoke slowly dissipating into APEIRON

just like you.

Time. what is it?
is it the clock on the wall
or the hands in your watch?
is it the hours at work
or the days left of school?
is it the months in a year
or the days in a month?
is it the drive to the store
or the hours that we sleep?
we base our whole lives around this "time"
a preborn schedule
it's almost like a test to see if we can survive
but it's all lies
Time does not exist
Time Is Existing
Time is right Now
and We are right Now
We breathe Seconds, We see Days, We think Years
We Are Time
So don't waste it, cause then
you're just wasting yourself.

If you grasp tight to your
                         individualism,
Give in to all the
                      romanticism,
Rid of any
         materialism,
Confide within
                   professionalism,
Drop all acts of
                      favoritism,
Eject from any
                vulgarism,
Open up to
           socialism,
Advocate
              activism,
Realize you are an
                          organism,
Forget about any
                     perfectionism,
And explore inside
                           transcendentalism,
You will look up into complete
                                          mesmerism
of how all the stars are
                               symbolism
for the billion versions of
                                   creationism
that you've ever lived,
                             and will live.

Take a seat to think this through

The entire world relies on you
to wake us up and change our views
on moral subjects we must review

For before we could speak
they already glued
all their laws and rights to our minds

Though untrue, in the end
who aids these laws
is you.

We
Everyday we take a look
A look out at the world
A world that's filled with hate,
lust, despair, unfulfilled moments
of true happiness

Some people call this freedom
Freedom which we all take advantage
Advantage of not only us,
but others whom we've grown close,
comfort, relations

We roam around these streets
Streets we've adapted to live
Living in our subconscious minds,
interacting  with whatever comes
and waiting to see it journey

We believe in these higher beings
Beings whom we can never see
Seeing what it's created around us,
emotionally driven organisms who
can only move forward, choices

We count down every last minute
Minutes throughout our days
Days soon turning to nights
that we lay in our beds and drift
into our other world, oblivion
Ginelle Gonzalez Sep 2011
We take deep breathes to ventilate
our minds that they contaminate with "facts"
and we cooperate to live
but what's life if we imitate
the things around they illustrate to be profound
and tolerate their moves as they assassinate
that very moment when you speculate
that there's more than this
what's life if we hesitate to
speak of what might be the
key to cultivate something beyond
what is here, beyond fate
our linguistic ability to communicate
is more than a sign to orchestrate
our feelings as one and incubate them into a new
luxuriate creation
