No matter where I go,
People always catch up;
No matter how everything is faux,
People always tell to hop up.

Seemingly there are hundreds of choices,
Overlapping to create an illusion;
There are ever-growing hundreds of voices,
With the desire to rush to the conclusion.

Indeed, social connections are at peak,
Indeed, followers and notifications flow;
But also, true relationships we all seek,
But also, we want to be steady and grow.

The desire to always be better,
The desire to always improve;
It exhausts binding me in fetter,
It exhausts always having to prove.

Being modern has drained being patient,
Being modern has brought instant expectations;
For love and healing we act impatient,
For at last it tones down all aspirations.
it can be very disappointing at times

Life today is at haste,
The hustle and bustle fast-paced;
There's a lost will to still explore,
An inner voice saying, I don't want more.

For if the pillars of life are stable,
The beauties weave a majestic fable;
With the mates and folk always at door,
It's a tangled wish to say, I don't want more.

I walk through the rain,
All cherished memories remain;
If I'm happy down at the core,
Why shouldn't I say, I don't want more!

I've tried, succeeded and failed, again and again,
I always gave my best, to grow my own ken;
It's a loved journey, a stroll beside the shore,
The time has come, to say I don't want more.

There is a blend of coral waters and lush greenery,
A tale at each bay with unparalleled stories.
It's a memory always cherished, for the beauty in scenery,
Its greatness is unknown, for the countless glories.

The air is vicious, every battle is painful,
The wildlife is missing, with homes snatched away.
The shores are toxic, it's a poison very baneful,
The heat is rising, with rays finding a way.

Opposites converge, this magic is of Earth,
Losing hope is of no use, let's give this beast a rebirth.

All I want is your time,
An effort in matching your rhyme;
You brigthen the darkest of times,
The little moments we spend sometimes.

All I want is your time,
The moments of growing thyme;
You don't make me forget the pain,
You give me the courage to fight again.

All I want is your time,
This request is no crime;
The joy and sorrow we both face,
Is best countered with our warm embrace.

I follow the Sun, a guiding light;
The symbol of hope shining bright.
He's always there, day and night;
Ready to help, and be a delight.

A journey I travel, not alone;
There are seven more, at tone.
In the ever-growing cosmos unknown;
They comfort one as their very own.

I have a partner all along;
The Moon at bay, standing strong.
The bond in which we belong;
It's bound to stay for very long.

I possess the greenery, the oceans;
A diversity full of devotions.
The winds and waves, enchanted motions;
It's a life uplifted by beautiful emotions.
i'm a space enthusiast indeed.

It's a story untold,
A story unheard.
Keep it under the bush, and it shall become common,
Accept it as any other problem, and it shall become uncommon.

Mistreat it, and it shall block progress,
Treat it well, and it shall counter stress.
Mistreat it, and it shall turn the happy gloomy,
Treat it well, and it shall turn the sorrow bloomy.

Attempts were made, she tried to express,
Ignorance she faced, she had to suppress.
Unknown of the fact that it grew,
The society termed it to be a taboo.

A necessity, rather our greatest wealth,
In good shape we all need, our own mental health.
She dared to speak ,
We stated her to be weak.
through this poem, i've tried to put light on how society (especially in India, relates more) terms depression & mental health-related topics to be a subject of taboo. awareness on these issues is also needed, for this our youth which might go in vain.

Fearing the process,
Fearing the results,
It's a fear making me hollow,
The true culprit within, is a young-sharp fellow.

Above the skies is the fear to fall,
Below the shores is the fear to dawn.
It's an emotion that can brawl within,
An emotion that can persuade within.

What's fear without life?
What's life without fear?
A conundrum at rife,
The line in between blur.

Fear is yet instilled,
A nuance of an emotion.
Greater than that of loss,
Greater than that of death,
This one is a companion,
The fear of life without depth.
i'm open to suggestions and constructive criticism and ofc, all the postivity.
this is only my start as newbie in the world of poetry and philosophy, the two fields i like to combine. the exploration is to dawn.
