I forgot to take a picture
So I drew you from my head
Time has passed so fiercely
That soon we both were dead

The drawing still hangs high up
On the wall above my bed
In the house where we both lived

We never had a child
And left anything behind
But the notebook paper drawing
Where I drew a perfect line

The movers came and saw it
Nailed down perfectly straight
He had a gift idea, and drew his wife with paint

How could I be happy
When no one gives me a chance
We are all aging in a cycle, while the dead get together and dance
Peace is before and when its all over
Only once we realize, does life get a lot slower
