Fishes
Frexin LekseyAV Aug 2017
It was the best of times and the worst of times and oh so stereotypical,
Not gonna rhyme,
Not this time,
Haha I had you goin there didn't I?
So let me tell you a story, a little old tale,
There once were a thousand fish in the sea,
Each one blue or green or red,
And each one shot itself through the head,
until there was only a single fish left,
Then BAM it shot itself too...
Now isn't that sad? All the little fishes with no will to live?
We all pity the poor little fishes,
But at least they had guns.

Occasional Ranting
Frexin LekseyAV Feb 2017
Hopeless ain't we? Living life in such a way that no one ever succeeds, lost in the theory that we're doomed to fail.
LIES
We're all lying to ourselves,
We refuse to accept that we can be better,
We don't want to be better,
Saying that there is a point means that we have to care,
Caring is hard, it means changing,
Why change when we're so comfortable?
That's why the world never changes,
We have no impact because most of us have lost that childhood belief that we can make a change, lost the hope that we can make an impact on this stupidly ******* up world,
We hurt each other, and run away from anything difficult or uncertain,
We put ourselves first, it's a world of survival after all,
But maybe once, just once, we can step out of the box,
We can help each other to stride forward,
We can realize that what the world wants, isn't what humans want,
We are the ones to change the world,
*We can make a difference.
Being optimistic is fun.
Sorry for the rant

The Shockwave
Frexin LekseyAV Feb 2017
Well there's a hole smashed in the side of my ship,
I'm sinking fast, merely a snip away,
Crumbling faster than I can glue,
I'm drowning in the thousand glass shards,
Each one cutting, deeper deeper,
I just need to get away,
To get away from it all,
Shockwave spreading breaking shredding,
Didn't see it did you now?
Buildings crumbling,
I'm left fumbling,
In the wake of life.
It's okay, I understand the pain.

The End of an Era
Frexin LekseyAV May 2017
Cyanide and quiet goodbyes
The only world I know,
Swimming, drowning, choking out,
Everything...
1,2,3
The clock tick tock tick tocks,
It's ending, I feel the world bending,
My journey is accelerating faster than I can fathom,
Do I want this? Yeah, I think so.
****** he's gone

Whoops, the lines are back again,
Sorry, I really didn't mean to, but you sorta made me slip,
You caused this after all, and decided to test me on yourself,
I hope you don't blame me, though I understand if you do a little,
They say dull is more dangerous than sharp,
Well you seem to have proven that wrong, cuzz sharpness shouldn't be tested on ones self.
Pretty much guaranteed not to be what you think it is.

What do you do when you're different?
How do you react when you realize you don't feel the way others feel?
Where can you hide, when you become afraid of yourself?
Who do you trust enough to tell?
Maybe maybe....
Maybe it's okay...
Maybe they won't care, and run away,
Or kick you until you bleed some more,
Maybe just maybe they won't see you differently,
I didn't see you differently,
I saw you as you and me as me,
And this is where it ended up.
Cryptic on occasion! Enjoy :)

You
Frexin LekseyAV Apr 2017
You
You is an amazingly confusing word.
It has so many uses, you can never know which you you are talking about,
Is you me, or the other me?
Or IS you, you,
Or is you her? It could very well be as such.
You will never know who you is,
And maybe I won't either?
You isn't you but is you. Stop caring about it.

Iron in the Air
Frexin LekseyAV Jun 2017
Ya know how at any given moment, the body has 3-4 grams of iron in it?
Well isn't it fascinating how even though a microscopic percentage of us is made up of this substance, the smell is still strong enough to fill a room?
The moment a drop of blood is spilled, the familiar metallic tasting smell seeps into the back of your throat and you remember the last time you smelled it. Interesting ain't it?
What if we could take that iron out of blood, what would it smell like then?
The Irony of it all is that I don't even care.
*yawn* why am I still up at 2 am...
