‘I love you’ said he
And so many others
Trapped in their fantasies
I gave in to the lust
The love soon fading out
Till I find someone better
Or dream of the one to be.

And I’d wait for him
Like a bird in a cage to be freed
Like a baby wanting to be fed
Like a flower wanting to be kissed
By the wasp of love
Bringing the ultimate ecstasy of being.

And then I’d know him,
Better than everyone I've ever known
Loving more than everyone ever loved, he’d be
And so shall he be loved
He be lucky, he be precious.

Looking out at the sky, I see a bright white light
Flashing through the panes onto my eyes
Bringing your memories distant yet close
Forcing me to ponder about your life and mine.

Laying down here I wish we were stars
Dancing our way out through the skies
Into the galaxies, known and unknown
Over every sky.

Together we grow, together we die
Holding hands, staying close by
Getting brighter than the sun
Till we bid him 'goodbye'.

Don’t you know what you did to me
I feel like a jellyfish when you kiss me
I ask you for more whenever I say ‘No’
And swim across the ocean of love with a varying glow!

I ripple down to pieces when you touch me
And allow my mind rather than eyes to see
I quiver, you take me in an embrace
Holding me close through this love-filled maze.
