lonely Angel
Beneath the heavens, cold and wide,
Wanders an angel with wings denied.
Once kissed by the sun, now veiled in gray,
Lost in the night, forgotten by day.
A halo dimmed, no golden glow,
A heart once radiant now beats slow.
The stars above refuse to guide,
Leaving her adrift on sorrow’s tide.
Her whispers tremble, her tears take flight,
Dancing alone in the silent night.
No choir sings, no harps resound,
Only echoes of grief, forever bound.
Her feathers fall, one by one,
A fleeting shimmer in the absent sun.
No hand to catch, no voice to call,
Just endless silence to break her fall.
Oh, lonely angel, who stole your light?
Who left you stranded in eternal night?
A prisoner of solitude, bound by despair,
Crying to a world that’s unaware.
She walks unseen, her footsteps fade,
A shadow slipping through the shade.
Yet in her heart, a fragile spark,
A hope that lingers in the dark.
Perhaps one day, her wings will mend,
And she’ll find a love that won’t pretend.
But for now, she roams, her burden grave,
A lonely angel, too kind to save.
