Cosmic Lust
Erin Fowler Mar 2012
An explosion of a star created you
Perfectly, so beautiful and pristine
Your face and body,
It’s hard to look away.

Dangling
Floating above the abyss of earth
Reflecting the sun like dazzling diamonds masking the bitterness
Of mere humans,
Their toes curling in envious delight

Your voice is cream silk cascading over a deep red velvet tapestry
Draped on a woman’s sensuous form
Hugging every curve
A delicacy of sorts
It’s dangerous to float so close to the edge of the universe with you
But resistance is futile, as our friends call out.

Your love binds me, makes me writhe with such
Wonder and cosmic craving.
I lick up your being
I can’t get enough

In this vast expanse of emptiness
Your love fills our cosmos
Teasing and tantalizing.
Making me scream!

It’s a dazzling light show when the star explodes,
Sprinkling the black with multicolored
Pleasure.
An explosion of a star created you, darling.
I wrote this in my poetry class, as part of our ****** Poetry premise.
