Let me fall into an abyss
of darkness
Where there is no noise
or feeling
Where I can rest
and sleep
For the rest of eternity
Because my soul
Has been awake
Since the beginning
of time.
Erck Jun 2012
We swim together in a pool
of forever moving bodies
There is no rest
For those with busy minds
Erck Jun 2012
Let me sleep
against your shoulder
against the heat of your skin
against the beating of your heart
so I know you are here
and I know we are safe
Erck Jun 2012
Bury my body six feet under
Under the heavy dirt
That will suffocate my decaying flesh
And turn me into
Life again
Erck Jun 2012
I want to fly in
the space with the birds
against clouds of mist
and powder blue skies
and swallow the air
that hasn't been
touched because
it comes from the
top of the world.
Erck Jun 2012
Cool rain drops on shadowy blacktop
Rippling puddles reflect grey skies
Pattering softly on slick tin roofs
Staring into melancholy eyes
Rain drips off leaves of jade
Running over aging bark
Rivulets running to the ground
Pooling without smart remark
Clouds of powder smoky grey
Pregnant with oncoming storm
Foaming ocean waves do fall
Crashing onto distant shores
Thunder rumbles, lightening strikes
Illuminating snowy peaks
Jagged mountains looming tall
Brushed with dark and dreary streaks
Arctic plains painted white
Drifts of frost and chunks of ice
Freezing glaciers plunder through
Into bedrock their masses slice
Past the ocean's slapping tides
Breaking crests against cliff walls
Over the edge it flies skyward
And into space it's time that falls.
