The Little Door
Enjay Sep 2011
Wondering were I got this rage
I started looking 'round the cage
Hiding in the back, a little door.
****, never saw this before
I pressed close my ear, hoping to feel
hot to the touch, it made me kneel
Whats behind the door, I'm brave to behold
Rest assured it would soon be told.
Locked! But how do I see?
That soon the door would open to me
Turning away I vented a rage
then I heard the click from the back of my cage
Spinning and turning with a stare
I fell to my knees, all of me aware
The door swung open wide
revealing all that was crammed inside
Memories of things all bad
every one of them made me mad
And with a great breath of wind
a sudden gust that made me spin
an uncontrolled rage began
to escape from this caged man
jumping to my feet again
I'll not be captive to anger's sin
I shoved the door closed with all my might
That will do for now, but then the night
I sit shivering looking across the room
at the little door hiding crazy gloom
I will destroy the insanity
without this rage I will be free
to fly again without with a cry
No rooms now in my uncaged sky.

The Violation Of...
Enjay Sep 2011
You shout at me, I try to ignore what you do
Your always there, I try to behave
You wont let me be alone, I don't want a shadow
You don't let me talk, I'm to loud
You never will give up, I try to run
You make me afraid, I make excuses
You influence my friends, I try to explain
You hide and peek at me, I cant know where you are
You intrude on my privacy, I just want to be alone
You threaten my existence, I just want to be safe
You make me do things, I'm embarrassed to say
You sink lower in your life, I watch you fall
You struggle to bring me down, I struggle to breathe
You will not win, I will survive
You will not change me, I will win
You will not violate me again, I will ****

Stinger
Enjay Sep 2011
Tickle in my brain, flying around in there
Nettle from the wings, wings without air.
Brother to it's flight, a needle of doubt
The sting will be sure, no way out.
I flinch from the pain, it pierces my defense
Pushing without mercy, sparing no expense
I feel the poison, numbing as it goes
Fiercely it corrupts, hope in death throes
I shake myself aware, I wont let it go
To pull this out, stop the flow
Strength from the deep, I brace for pain
Doubt won't easily die, it will be back again.

The Live Of A Wave
Enjay Sep 2011
Coerced from my sleep

way, way down deep

The incessant push of another element

Barely appearing in my journey

I can't be seen clearly

until I'm pushed on another element

Orange temper far below

angry kicks not softening the blow

pushing me on, another element.

Tired of being treated so

I rise up and with thunderous roar

white water, the pushing epitaph, of another element

I Miss Me
Enjay Sep 2011
I gave you my desire,
I gave you my fire,
I gave you my touch
I loved you so much

I gave you my labor
I gave you my anchor
I gave you my shield
I loved you to yield

I gave you my years
I gave you my tears
I gave you understanding
I loved you unending

I gave you my nights
I gave you my rights
I gave you my soul
I loved you to be whole

I gave, you took
I gave, you turned
I gave, you went
I gave, I miss me....

Rhythm of Wings
Enjay Jan 2013
Alight with you my love I float among the cloudy waves

Holding on the wind a fevered fear that prolongs my only days

Not to see or to swim amongst the damp and fallen dew

But to glide along your endless shore and stroke the plain of you

Winds they blow and change their course to challenge my fancied flight

only a challenge against strong wings in this long and primal night

Starry witnesses show the way to this floating passionate soul

earthen desires abandoned forever to wrestle in this stranglehold
