I find it quite amusing how we've been nothing to each other for nearly a year

and Yet,
sometimes the smallest thing will happen.

and I'll smile because you're still the only person I ever want to tell.
I'd give anything to hear you laugh at my stories again.

The greatest equalizer
We are all the same
We are all afraid of the noises in the dark
We are all helpless under it's spell.

And yet, there's something quite magical about it, isn't there?

You're escaping me
and now I'm lonely.

No matter how far you've gone
or where you go,
sadness will always find you there eventually.

Mostly when you least expect it.
and when you just thought
maybe, this once, you could be happy.
